/r/ literageek comic
« on: 12 Mar 2008, 21:19 »

I stumbled across a comic awhile ago online. It was a short one-off featuring James Joyce, T.S. Eliot and Ezra Pound sitting about a table. I seem to have lost the link, and while Google once yielded results in helping me find it, it now has lost its touch.

If anyone happens to have a link or knows what I'm talking about, I'd much appreciate a point in the right direction.

People around here really don't like 4chan references, just for the record. Other than that, I can't help you other than to say that there's always this place if you need help, but I'm never in there so I don't know how active people are.

Actually, we couldn't care less about 4Chan references as subtle as that one. We really dislike the elimination of vowels from your speech and the use of 'z' to pluralise words though.

Interestingly, a lot of us wouldn't have a clue what was a 4chan reference and what wasn't, if people didn't go around painstakingly pointing them out!

I had no idea what 4chan was until people continuously started railing against it. If you hate something so much, odds are you'd be better served remaining silent and not drawing attention to it rather than blathering on about how much you hate it and piquing people's curiosity.

And I see nothing wrong with Commies, as long as they're the Khrushchev kind, and not the Stalin kind. They're definitely better than dickwad fascists like Mussolini.

What kind of pose is that? Lame ass.

Similarly, I don't really know what 4chan even is other than some immature website that Patrick happens to like. And this isn't a request for an explanation; I'm simply pointing out how little I care.

Then where do you go to find your tentacle-rape pictures? Or your dickgirl drawings? I mean, of course there are the other chans, but fuhrerchan is a bit of a disappointment, really, and bananachan was closed.

Well at least for tentacle rape all you really have to do is type hentai into a search engine. You can probably find some dickgirl that way too.

Take that, 4chan!

I couldn't give two shits whether or not somebody makes a reference to 4chan, because half the time I am the guilty party. I only warned the guy because I have seen 5 instances within the last 48 hours of people getting butthurt about people referencing 4chan. Just because I was the first to inform the guy doesn't mean I go out of my way to nip every 4chan reference in the bud.

Seriously dude, you know me better than that if you know my internets-persona at all.

Srsly, Patrick is usually the one to make the 4chan reference and then is bitched at over it. And then he learns and tells people not to make 4chan references and he gets bitched at over it.

Jesus fucking christ, you guys.

Here is a list of things I don't give a shit about if you're fucking around and they fit in with conversation:
- talking liek thiz
- posting amusing pictures that feature on or originate from 4chan (it's not the only pictureboard on the interweb)
- memes that people use there

Things I do care about:
- your general level of well-being and happiness
- the Holy Fuck LP
- constantly talking about 4chan as if this place is some kind of goddamn tribute forum

pee ess: Thanks to MuteKi for actually answering the OP's question.
