That is brilliant!  It would make for such an awesome gag.  I would stick them in random places around my school.

The context actually makes the picture less interesting.  It is a super generic office building sir.

Some one on Flickr posted this awesome ceiling cat.

Haha, thats amazing. I go to an art school where we have dance offs during lunch so no one would be too suprised. The janitors might get a bit mad but... Worth it.
Oh, and since we're an art school we have big paper and big color printers.

On the other hand, my school is hella preppy. I think I'll go home, print on out, make it, stick it to the ceiling in the school, and watch the scary preppy kids freak out. They tend to do that a lot anyways, mine as well give them a good reason.

I made one of these in my third block class and stuck it to the ceiling.  Now Ceiling Cat keeps a vigilant eye on all of us while we compute, in Graphic Design class.  I'll get picture next week, if it's still up.  The custodians might have taken it down by Monday, though.

I hope not.  I don't want to make another one.  It was a pain in the ass.

Yeah, the thing took forever to fold and tape the right way. I think it might go faster if I were to try it again, but that would only be if I could print it in color.

I put one in our break room at work, to watch over the fridge, where lots of theft has occured lately. Vengeance will be served and sandwiches will be eaten by their proper owners, for ceiling cat sees all.

Haha! If I can find a way of getting to the ceiling in one of my classes, I will so do this. (The ceilings are pretty damn high.)

Would it be weird for me to put a papercat in a classroom I teach in? Not that I'm planning to, just wondering. Mostly the ceilings are too high in rooms that I teach in, but I just noticed that there is a lowered beam in one classroom that I can reach by standing on a chair.

I spent more than an hour making a ceiling cat at college, and then it got destroyed by someone who was wearing my jacket at the time. They incurred my wrath and I took back my jacket but I can't be bothered making another ceiling cat.

We'd almost managed to stick it to the ceiling of the toilets, too, we just needed a bit more blu-tak.

Ha, ours is still standing as of Friday (we're on spring break)
Hopefully the janitors won't take it down. Ceiling cat did, however, make me aware that my student teacher reads this comic.

Can you spot it? It's greyscale by the way.

Curious bystanders will do well to note that the "taken down" does not, in fact, refer to the site in question; it is a good link to click to waste a couple minutes, and the giant cat head is pretty cool.

so you can just right click and click 'print' and it'll come out like you need it? or do you have to do something special? i never got the hang of printing things that aren't word documents.

Yup. Open this link in a new window and select Print from the File menu. That's the easiest way. If you use regular letter paper, it will turn out to be about 4" by 4" by 3".

I now have a ceiling cat watching me compute from the bottom of my cabinets.

There was one on the ceiling in one of the labs yesterday. "I'm in ur ceiling, criticizing ur IP schema"
