The only season of Family Guy I have any legitimate reason to hate is the new one.  They made a 'McCain is a Nazi' joke.  Game over.

If you don't like Tim and Eric there is something very wrong with your sense of humour, sorry duders. It might be the funniest thing on TV currently.

See, I want to say "Oh it's a poor man's Mr Show" but a weak version of Mr Show is still a fuckton better than all other sketch comedy ever.

Tim and Eric is nothing like Mr. Show. That Bob Odenkirk occasionally slums on the show is no indication of its quality. His role as a mob lawyer on the new season of Breaking Bad should be bizarre enough to be interesting. Bizarre in a good way.

Is it too much to ask for a sketch comedy show that doesn't rely on recurring characters (every show except. Mr.) and / or catatonic "oddity" (Mad TV, Tim and Eric)? No show since SCTV has included the former with any skill, and I'm never stoned enough for the latter to come across as anything beyond stupid.

The Mr Show comparison was not do with the Odenkirk appearances (In fact I'm not sure if I've seen any of those?) more the interlinking sketches.

I'd say that at the very least Tim and Eric's MTV parody episode was not in any way stupid (well, except in being stupid to prove their points and blah blah blah) but arguing about comedy is generally fruitless so never mind.

Tom: It feels like a children's show that's been accidentally given a prime time family slot? I don't know, it just grates. And is inescapable here in the UK and people assume if yr at all geekily inclined you must like it.

All of that said, David Tennant is fairly awesome.
