Why Should we go to France to See Shellac?
« on: 23 Apr 2008, 08:59 »

The All Tomorrows Parties Festival in New York is allowing My Bloody Valentine to pick the line up (in part) for three days (19-21.09.08).  The bands playing will be Shellac of North America (amazing!), Meat Puppets (still kicking ass!), Low (brain-slowing!) and Thee Silver Mount Zion Orchestra (some of us think their record is the best of this year!).

Is anyone interested in going to this? I figure it would be pretty awesome to see these rock bands in New York!

(And, you know, Thurston Moore, Built To Spill, Tortoise, Polvo, and Mogwai will also be there.)

(Or you could go see Shellac in France.)

Oh man, that would be absolutely amazing.

If only it were feasible...
Actually, it may be. I was planning on taking a road trip in August anyway..

That looks glorious.  I wonder if I can go.  Maybe I'll get some friends to go with me and split the cost of a room for three.

Bluuhh!  I just checked out a bunch of the other events, and there are so many I would like to go see!

I am leaving New York the 20th.

Life is cruel this way.
