The future is here.
« on: 01 May 2008, 14:25 »

This is something straight out of a science fiction story:

regenerating limbs

Man. What the fuck?

This is creeping my out while at the same time leaving me stupid with awe.

For those of you too lazy to read the article: using a powder a guy regrew his finger.

Either Barry Scott or Billy Mays would be better.  Nothing says HEY THIS CRAZY SHIT CAN GROW YOUR MAN-TACKLE like an older man on TV SCREAMING HIS LOUDEST AT YOU TO BUY HIS SHIT

You know what I want, a skeleton of metal.  Would make the regeneration thing that much better.

Guys, we are living in the future, and have been for a few years.

i just found out yesterday that we are officially living in The Technological Age and that the Industrial and Mechanical Age has ended. i don't know how long this has been going on so maybe it's old news, but it was a shock to me.

the future is now, people; where is my flying car that runs on happiness?!

Why would Pepsi declare this the Information Age?

Also, Information Age, or maybe Computer Age, makes a hell of a lot more sense to me than Technological Age. Computers are a technology, jet planes are a technology, steam power is a technology.

Clearly steam-power belongs to the mechanical era and is as such a mechanology.
