I'm currently working on my 'ironic songs to play at my funeral' playlist.

It opens with 'Alive And Well' by Rise Against.

And then what?

I'm still working on it, dude. 'Bullet In The Head' by RATM will be in there somewhere.

Okay, the time is finally upon me. I need two mix CD themes. One was suggested by... Jimmy, I think, which was something along the lines of "embarrassing music to dance to". I think I can do that. The thing is that maybe 60% of my collected music was recently destroyed in a very necessary HD reformat. So I've got less than I usually would. Ensuring diversity may be a problem.

If I can't do well enough with what I've got I'll probably make updated, superior versions of previous mixes I've made, which sort of sucks, but they're the only mixes I've made that I really feel are good.

Suggestions?

1. "Ceremony" - New Order
2. "Ceremony" -  Joy Division
3. "Ceremony (second pressing)" New Order
4. "Ceremony" - Joy Division
5. "Ceremony" - New Order
6. "Ceremony" - Joy Division
7. "Ceremony (second pressing)" - New Order
8. "Ceremony" - Joy Division
9. "Ceremony" - New Order
10. "Ceremony" - Joy Division
11."Ceremony (second pressing)" New Order

I think it's pretty good.

Probably. I haven't actually heard them, but I guess I'll go do that now.
That said if I had included them I probably would have ended up making the mix 2 hours long or something.

After listening to Ceremony in it's different incarnations for the last hour, I can only say this: damn fine mix, dear sir.

So it's time to make a new mix. This time I get to choose the theme.

So throw some themes at me. I'm leaning towards revising my piano / string mixes, as they were my strongest. But I'm open to suggestions.

"Songs to Kill People to"

Using anything from the Matrix or Kill Bill soundtracks is cheating.

Go have fun.

EDIT: @OP: Did you make this mix for your girlfriend before or after she narrowly avoided the London bombing?
