Girl Talk - Feed the Animals

Girl Talk is doing the In Rainbows thing with his new album, so if anyone wants it, here it is.

It is just like Night Ripper, so if you enjoyed that, you'll like this.

I find the only real fun is figuring out the samples though.

I got it about 3 am this morning. I've listened to it about 4 times now. I'm not sure how it ranks against Night Ripper (or his other stuff, which I actually enjoy but whatever). But I do know I like it well enough.

but the music sucks because the keyboards don't have the cold/mechanical sound they had but a wannabe techno sound that it's pathetic for Rammstein standars.

This is really cool stuff, and I expect to be playing it at any friendly hang-out that involves people who haven't heard it before for a while.  Once I run out of those, though, I probably won't come back to it that often.  It's fun, though.  I like it.

I'm liking it so far but not as much as Night Ripper. Not a huge fan in general so I'm a little bit bored. Although the Paranoid Android that just came on in Set It Off is pretty killer. For me, it's those rare "oh shit, that's cool!" moments on GT albums that make them worth listening to. When the sample popped up early on in Night Ripper from Where is my Mind?, for example, is one of those. This Radiohead sample is another.

Yeah, he is a complete novelty act, but at least he is good at what he does.

So far I think this is maybe at least much better than Night Ripper, which I fucking loved, this one seems a lot more coherent.

i think it's more danceable than night ripper. (which i also love)

night ripper is "dance" music for people who don't actually dance.

What did everyone answer for the little question?
I said I can't afford it, which is quite true.  I almost put I may donate later, because I might.  But right now, broke.

Edit:
Some parts are better than others, but METALLICA!  MEGADETH!  AWESOME!  I think this shall enter my rotation for the time being.  I also feel like having a party.

I'd say defenitly more danceable than "Night Ripper" , I'd say he's improved his craft a bit. Sure it's just mash-ups, but for the most part, it's good/fun mash-ups

oh I put I may donate later, because...I may.

This is so playable, I'm on my third listen now, it's actually great. All the unexpected bits make me smile, except Avril Lavigne. I almost cried at that.

Yep, this is better than Night Ripper, way more cohesive, and way more "oh shit!" moments. (It also helps that I just recognise more stuff on it).
