www.showdownlan.comI know there are fellas on here who have powerful and potent computers, and play some rather glorious games. I'm sharing this, trying to get people to attend, I was there last year at the RCA dome in Indianapolis and walked away with several prizes and goodies.
The ticket cost is 60 bucks, but you get easily that in free goods with the ticket (last years was two games, Company of Heroes, and Medal of Honor Airborne, and a FULL case of Butterfinger bars, plus a bag of goodies with case fans, neons, UV lights, etc.)
There are three locations this year... Mass, Illinois, and California...
Its a three day convention of nerds, geeks, and computer enthusiasts doing nothing but gaming and living off of caffeine, just please, for god's sake, leave WoW at home...
I walked away with an 8600GTS video cards from BFG technologies for finishing second in the Company of Heroes Tournament (lost by 5 victory points) and a black-chrome enermax keyboard, also walked away with UV blue and green cable sleeves and other goodies as well...
I suggest you go, the cost isn't much, and if you go, you will not regret it!
