Bellen! former Jeph Jacques Guest Strip Comic
« on: 26 Jun 2008, 08:47 »

Hi, Jeph was totally awesome and did a guest strip for my comic, Bellen! Just wondering how many of you stuck around and read the rest of the comics.

I tried, but after the first six comics or so were just "aww"-comics I got kind of nauseous. I dig your drawing style though!

well, thanks, you cynical bastard.

kidding, I think the last hundred or so have been a lot less over the top "aww" inspired.

oh, that reminds me! i always wanted to ask -- do the names "ben" and "ellen" come from the dismemberment song "ellen and ben"? one of my favorite songs, i just thought coincidence was a little too great.

second most asked bellen question, the answer is "no" i never even heard that song before it was brought up as a question.

first most asked:  Are you Ben?  answer: a little.

I love your comic. The awww moments, and the little reminders of my own relationship that I get when I read it keep me coming back every MWF.

Dear Bocks Braughn,
While I do enjoy your webcomic (although I lack the estrogen or relationship required to truly consider it good enough to bookmark), you managed to spell both Jeph and Jacques wrong in your title. You did get it right in your post, though. Good enough.
Still, much better than most other webcomics that I end up checking regularly.

Your comic's pretty cool! One of the nicer webcomics around, in my opinion.
BTW, is it just me or is Ben a bit of an emo? xD

In some ways Ben reminds me of myself about 5-10 years ago, which is weird because my name is Ben also.

Are you uh, are you stealing thoughts from my past?

Oh god

I pretty much steal from everyone's past and presents and futures all the time

also, Ben is a total tough guy and could kick a number of different peoples' butts.
