Anyone Listen to "Goose" or "The Presets"?
« on: 27 Jun 2008, 15:06 »

Has anyone ever listened to Goose?
Its this great electro-indie underground band from Belgium (Yummy)!
And I'm afraid I'm addicted to them right now and I'm wondering if I'm one of the only on here.

They sound a heck of a lot like The Presets, who are from Australia.

If interested Goose is here (by far better quality music then youtube):

Dare to compare with The Presets here:

Both these bands are basically on Universal.

Anyways, I only really know The Presets from that one music video... you know the one... with the stuff...

Dang it now I need to go find/listen to that.

Oh. 5 minutes on google has taught me that I was thinking of the Softelights. Softlightes. Something like that.

Oh. Softlightes. Yeah.

Anyway...

The Presets are good on the 2 youtube songs I saw. Goose is a little electronic-y for me.

Both these bands are basically on Universal.

Does it matter?

They're good when I'm out dancing, though not so much for bedroom listening...and the Presets do tend ot make me pull some perculiar shapes, at times, but in a good way.

What Khar means to say, Electric Sprinkles, is that you have not very many posts here and you are recommending fairly mainstream acts by posting links to their MySpace pages.  Ergo, he is suspicious of your intentions.
