I'm pretty sure the point is the way they're set on the trees. It's kind of like one of those locking ring puzzles, except the one backless chair makes it painfully obvious how it's done. As I said, it kind of ruins the picture.

I was hoping that was merely trying to trick the responder into finding a point when in essence it is entirely random.

There's no joke that I'm aware of.  It's just a picture.  A pointless picture in the pointless thread.

My first thought was that all the trees with chairs seemed to be about the same age, so someone had a bunch of old chairs and they went out into the woods and placed them over a bunch of young trees.  Then they came back 20 years later to take a picture that would make people wonder how they did it.  But that seems like a lot of effort for a simple wtf.

I remember when I first saw that movie thinking how odd it was for the writers to make the put-upon main character ginormous, while the harassing antagonists are tiny. It's hard to see a character as the underdog to root for when they're several times as large as any of the other characters. Instead it just feels like the main character is bullying the little guys.

Ultimately, the writing is only so-so because the point of that movie was to show off Blender. That is, the movie was made as a big ole tech demo to prove that an open-source tool can be used to make feature film quality animation.

C'mon, you've never heard the term "gentle giant"?  He almost cried when the fox ripped off the butterfly wings!

Besides, I just put it up because it made me laugh, I don't care how good or bad it is, that's a discussion for the Movies board.

Also, since it was posted as the final post last page I don't think many people took the time to see it

-Awesome Nightmare Before Christmas Pumpkin Carving-

Okay, next year, I am buying some pumpkins and carving tools to try this form of pumpkin carving. I mean, this whole "shaving" and"gouging" technique thing looks waaaaaaaaay cooler then your regular, every day "carving". --I found some really cool websites the other night when i was looking for patterns for my carving the other night. I'll have to find a link later.
