What's the word on shutting down the Coney Island astroworld?

That makes me sad.

I once wandered Lincoln Park near UMass Dartmouth when my friend Walker was in college. The place was creepy as all Hell and it only got worse as the day went on. It was after most of the fires, so there was very little left to the place. One concession stand creeped me out as it was covered with taggings of 3.24 (My birthday). On our way out, there was a creepy guy standing up against a creepy well in the middle of the park. We ended up talking to him and he actually was a pretty cool guy who used to work there and now cut through the park to get to his current job.

I remember I knew a guy who thought it was cute when his dog did that, sliding around on his butt. I found out later that dogs do that when their anal glands are inflammed (basically, doggie hemorrhoids.)

EDIT: this is not meant to be taken as a slight towards dogs. I love dogs. What I meant is, poor dog. I've always thought dressing up dogs is ridiculous. This is over the top.

In what twisted world is -9oC cold?

That is like the average low in January here, and we're not that cold.

It's the daily express, everything is exaggerated. The lowest temperature recorded in the UK was -27.2°C at Braemar though, so maybe -9 has happened. I can't remember it ever being that cold though.

I can - but I've had more opportunity.  I was alive in (but don't remember!) the winter of 1947, when the temperature in Britain didn't rise above 0°C for six weeks, even in the most southerly parts of England.

Girl with many facial piercings and what looks like somewhat cheap "vampire fangs" flicking around her split tongue.

I didn't do a direct img link because whiles it's not really NSFW it is still a girl sticking her split tongue out which is close enough.

http://i34.tinypic.com/2zdoti9.jpg

It's horrible (*referring to my own reaction, not to her*) but I can't help thinking that if she had a decent looking pair of fangs I might respect that look more.

I mean she spent the money to split her tongue.  Why not splurge on a decent set?

To make things clear I think that the split tongue is awesome.

I found if fascinating because I didn't know that you could move around the two tips independently like that.

It was the fangs that I thought were lame.

I know for a fact you can buy a lot better looking dental appliances then that.

Same here. I don't know why you think that's so horrible,

The horrible comment was referring to my insane thought process on the matter.

I mean it really shouldn't matter about the dental stuff considering what she must have went through to get the versatile tongue and all.

Also, THE GAY IS COMING AFTER YOU AND YOUR FAMILY

I like how one of the related products is a DVD that argues that all homosexuals need to start liking the opposite sex again is a healthy dose of churchin' and a legion of mental health "professionals", like it is some sort of disease. Just wait, next they'll have DVDs with titles like "Follow the Light to the Right: How Jesus Cures the Left Handed".

I saw a picture of that cat earlier today, but I thought it was photoshopped (there was no additional info given). Now that I know it's real, however, all I can say is: dang, that thing is adorable. The only thing that could possibly make it neater is if the mouths didn't meow simultaneously, but one after another.
