Yeah definitely something like that.  I haven't seen HR Puffinstuff, but everything else fits.  I have a feeling that at least at the start of the show all the action scenes were pulled out of existing Japanese action series' and sandwiched in with a bunch of American teens to make it more palatable to a western audience.

That's actually exactly what happened, or at least wikipedia backs me up. The Japanese programme was apparently called Super Sentai.

I am pretty worried that I not only knew this, but seem to have deemed it worth remembering.

I was gonna post this in Music Talk, but this shit is beyond mention there. Remember Brokencyde?

No you fucking don't.

This video needs to be watched the whole way through.

EDIT: Apparently Tommy also posted it in Music Talk. Oh well, the more people that see this video, the better.

Christophe, really though, what does that have to do with Brokencyde? Granted, they are both shitty bands, but rather different shitty bands. While the video is hilarious, I'm not seeing a connection.

When I first played the video I thought it was Brokencyde playing shitty metal.  Like, they looked like maybe some of the dudes from Brokencyde playing metal.  These fucking idiots all look and sound the same to me.

I actually like Brokencyde and Attack! Attack! I mean, they're total posers, but I like the music. I'm probably the only one on these forums that do though.

(Although I have to say, that music video is TERRIBLE. They look like they're masturbating when they play their guitars.)

Does anyone else use  Omegle? Basically you go to www.omegle.com and chat with complete random strangers. Thus far it seems to be a place to send and receive gross out porn from randoms for the most part, but I have had a few surprisingly rewarding conversations..

How far in did you listen to the Attack Attack song? About 3/4 of the way in there it turns into an electro-pop song.

Both bands play an incomprehensible pastiche of modern electronic pop music and screamo, the only thing that really differs between the two is the ratio of electro to screamo.

I just found this short series of Bitstrips I did last year. They involve Harry, also known as Inlander. I basically made them to show how easy Bitstrips was but never made any more. I did not draw the Harry character, he was a preset already made when the site started. I thought it looked quite a bit like him and so that was the inspiration.

I am wearing a wolf T shirt in this photo.  This was back in 2002.  I am so ahead of the curve when making fun of wolf T shirts.

Note that the shirt I am wearing only has ONE wolf on it though.  I guess these shirts must have gotten more awesome as the years go on.

That exact same wolf shirt from the amazon review was in a facebook quiz as one of the results for "what awesome kickass motherfucking animal are you?" that I took when I was bored the other day, other results in that test included bear-eagles and toast.

Bonus:Show your love of wolves and America! At the same time!

Double-posting for awesome

Its for my Geiger counter, I swear

By    Amanda Richards "Modest to the extreme" (Georgetown, Guyana) - See all my reviews

There once was a man named Klaproth
Who cooked up some pitchblende-y broth
This bright German fellow
Mixed cake that was yellow
And found something new in the froth

He'd already discovered Titanium
Because of the size of his cranium
So not wanting to strain us
He thought of Uranus
And called his new product "Uranium"

Now Amazon's got it in stock
I'll admit that one came as a shock
An ore in a tin
Radioactive within
With a four-million year ticking clock

I just noticed while writing this rhyme
That this product ain't covered by Prime
Though small, it's got weight
So you'll pay lots for freight
And spending that much is a crime

So although I'd have wanted much more
Than this tiny container of ore
I'll have to make do
With one U 92
For my Geiger device checking chore

But if science is your main ambition
Since Amazon gives you permission
Please cover your a$$
If you want to tint glass
And you can't tell your fusion from fission

What i don't get is why anyone would pay over $30 for some uranium ore on Amazon when you can get Vaseline Glass/Uranium Glass marbles on eBay for $5 that do the same thing.

Immersion: Porn (semi-NSFW). People talk about their relationship with porn, interspliced with filmed jerking-off above the shoulders (think Beautiful Agony). Given that the video is in high-def it's really kind of unsettling.
