So I just moved into a new apartment in Louisville, KY to be closer to fun, beautiful parks, and work (not that it pays much anyways). The first night at my new apt. I got drunk and starred into nothingness while calculating some worthless argument:

Since Kentucky has humid and decently warm summers sweating is unavoidable, so after my 20 minute walk home from work in the afternoon sun I am a bit red and worn out, but nothing fixes that quite like some good bourbon.

Weller + ice = relaxation in the late afternoon heat.

I used to live like a 5 minute walk away from Angel's, but have strangely never eaten there. Did you guys go to the Cone Shoppe for some ice cream after?

Thanks Roxie. The crane screen is actually a hand me down from my grandparents that they purchased in Thailand when they were alive and adventuring. I wish I had more that worked with it to make my eating nook especially comfy, but I guess more decor will be uncovered over time ...

There's a lesson here kids. If you shove your hand on a still-hot hotplate, don't wait 8 hours to go get it checked out. You'll be thankful when they give you strong painkillers and bandage up your second-degree burns. The tetanus shot may also be an added bonus!
(also, my hand is wrinkly in the first photo from being in cold water for a long time. I burned the fleshy bit at the base of my thumb, the palm near the base of my fingers and three of my actual fingers. Not the smartest thing I've ever done, I must admit.)

You know... I've got a highschool classmate that works at think geek. She's the t-shirt girl as a matter of fact. Another guy I went to school with (a year older than me) went to work at ILM and has done special effects for the Star Wars and a bunch of other films.

Somehow... I grow up to get the boring job. How did that happen?
