Actually, when I think of it, I saved a lot of money on that purchase - it is kind of baggy. Maybe I should spend a little money and have it tailored to fit better?

No dont, just where an undershirt or a T-shirt thats a solid shade and one of the colours of the plaid.  It will fill out the shirt and if it is still baggy the fabrics will cling to each other a bit.

Also, I dig the kicks, but get a haircut.

Yes but Kristin sometimes you need to have a pair of bland jeans that will make everybody else appreciate the kickass pairs of jeans that you do have. When I've worn one of my many pairs of Levi 501s for about a week and a half, it is nice to put on my skinnies, fedora, and a smallish t-shirt and watch Albanian girls stare at me.

I think the only other place this would work is like Seattle or something, but you get what I'm saying.

Sometimes yeah, but when every single pair of jeans is like that it's getting out of hand. I am counting on Liz to take him shopping in Chicago, because I have officially failed as a shopping-partner.

So when I was home for Thanksgiving my mom had a couple great photos of me as a little 'un. Unfortunately her scanner is broken (I know what I'm getting her for Christmas) so I had to settle for camera-phone pics of the photos.

I'm not short short, just short. But they are all freaking tall. For girls, anyway.

Well, after the inevitable initial nerd-teen-crush I had on the blonde when we first met (I was 15 or 16 or so), I have ceased looking at her 'like that'.
And the red one, albeit probably pretty, is not my type.
Of course, this interpretation may result solely from the knowledge that red is taken and blonde + me can never be because we're awesome as friends.

If it makes you feel better, when I hung out with Shane and Yelley and Jason, I was the second shortest one there, and I am 6'0".

The weird thing about being a male in the 5'8"-5'9" range is that you kind of forget that you're short until guys like Ben Stiller (who I think is like, what 5'7", 5'8"?) make a fuss about being strange little guys with Napolean complexes in their movies (Exhibit A: Dodge Ball). That, and the occasional run in with herds of tall people. But otherwise it's a pretty convenient height. You can reach just about everything and still have some legroom in vehicles. As Evernew put it, you're short, but not really short short. I've had really short people remark on how I'm not truly short while the tall people still think I'm tiny. It's like I'm in some kind of strange height limbo.

It's not a strange limbo. It's the sweet spot in the middle. No hitting our heads, we fit into a submarine BUT ~70% of the female population still looks up to us.
