That was going really well, but it seems like you fell apart at the end.

Around that weird DVD, I think. What did that mean?

As overwrought and cheesy as this song is, it's always worth a dollar in the jukebox to watch an entire bar full of people drop whatever they are doing and slur along to notes they are not capable of hitting.

Until they dance into you and knock your gin and tonic all over your t-shirt.  Damn college kids.

I thought it was great.

Although, I quite like Journey. I can acknowledge how terrible they are, but they are just so fun to sing along to that I just don't care.

Now we all realise that picture lyric threads aren't so fun after the main event is done.

But, you know, we knew that already.

Here's a recipe for Vegetarian Mexican Sandwich:
Slice up some bell peppers longways, also some onions, maybe a big steaktomato or two, stick em in a big pan on high temperature, after drizzling the bottom of the pan in clear honey. shake it all about a bit until everything is nice and golden-edged, maybe letting it go to black on the edges of the vegges. Whilst sizzling, put a pitta bread into the toaster to open it out. Rip open the pitta when it's filled out, and pour in all the yummy honey vegetables. Eat right then, or save for later.

Oh, the dvd one was meant to be the cover of a film called Strangers. I have no idea what happened there.

Either way I just wanted to make a big deal out of my 2000th post. This thread can totally be locked now.

Also, Journey is awesome cheesy power rock. Even if you hate them you can't deny that they are so tragic it is hilarious.

I heard that song for the first time in months today and now this thread, enough of a coincidence to set off my totally rational paranoia about my life being a big experiment/lie/I am the omnipotent essence of the universe daydreaming etc.

FUCK.

What does it say about me that the only time I've ever heard this song was on Scrubs?

despite that Jimmy's OP is still awesome, if only because of the way that 'cheap perfume' was depicted so perfectly in one image.

Oh hey I used to work in that building in Jimmy's last picture.
I don't actually know the song but the place was called Harbourview on Queen's Wharf. Small Internet, huh.

I worked it out because I remember something someone said in gabbly. I listened to the song and realised that it wasn't the song I thought it was. I was confusing it with 'More Than a Feeling' by Boston.

This song is even more shitty than that Boston song. I still don't quite understand what's going on.

All burned out. Maybe more later. (But at this point the song should be pretty obvious.)
