I want a military style jacket and I found two i kind of like, but I am favoring one more than the other

That website appears to hate me so I cannot see the full-size pictures. But, from what I can tell by the tiny little thumbnails, both are good jackets, though the second does appear to have a more formal feel.

First Army Jacket is a major Don't, the second one is much subtler and generally stylish.

*edit*

Also that Boba Fett Hoody is for extreme Motocross types with poor fashion sense.  I would not recommend it.

my fashion advice is to get a pair of leather shoes that have a pointy toe instead of a square toe, in a medium brown or darkish red colour instead.  They feel fancy and kind of a pain in the ass

I have shoes just like that, and I thought I'd posted them in this thread before, or maybe the pic thread. Anyway, I just really like sneakers, and my job a) is pretty cool with allowing me to wear sneakers and b) requires a fair amount of walking, which means it is good to have comfy shoes. Dress shoes are for dressy occasions.

Dovey, I support your fashion decisions. Except for that first shirt that you must have stolen from your younger brother or something. It does you no good at all.

Dont under estimate the potential comfort of a nice pair of shoes.  Guys shoes arent designed to punish our feet in the name of fashion.

Also, ignore Emaline, she is w-r-o-n-g.  That first shirt is great, it fits on the small side of well, but it does flash a comfortable level of tat, which makes up for it, and the pattern is nice.  So if you can, dont be afraid of trading it in for the same thing one size up.

*edit*

To Emailine, ok fine, we are on the same page then.  Truces all 'round

I am saying it is wrong because it is too damn small. If it fit him properly, it'd be fine. I think shorter sleeves are nifty on people with tattoos to show off, but that doesn't mean that grown men should shop in the little boys section. You could be wearing the Greatest Shirt In The World, and it'd still look terrible if it didn't fit.

Dear People Of The World,

Dislike looking over weight? Buy clothes that fit!

I used to have a friend to hated how fat she was. All the time she'd complain and complain about it. But she wasn't really that fat! A bit healthy sure, but not fat. Nothing she really needed to get rid of. But she wore a size 10 when she should have been wearing a size 14. The size 10s would squeeze her fat out and over her pants, making her look a lot bigger than she was. If she would have worn a proper size, she would have looked lighter.

When your shirt is so tight, you can use your buttons as weapons, you need to get a bigger size, or be sure to provide everyone around you with goggles for when those buttons pop off.

This is a little off topic, but every single time I see a girl sporting a mohawk and I don't stop to say "that's awesome, we should be friends" I  know that I'll regret it forever.

I think my first girlfriend spoiled me (she had that crazy liberty spikes style of mohawk that was really damn long and my god was she attractive) as to what hairstyles I think are attractive.

hurgle blurge your shirt doesn't fit

Yeah but I think it'd be fine if I wore it without a t-shirt underneath, like I am there. I tried it on in the store and it was fine then. So it's either the t-shirt or I gained hell of weight in the last two weeks.

Hey guys, this!

I just hope none of my winter gloves catch sight of these things, because they'll fight them for being copycats. They sell for between $70-$100 and are allegedly great for all sorts of make believe sports like ChiRunning, Pose Method Running, and Bouldering. And, if they're anything like my barefoot style running shoes, they're even greater at smelling like ass."

To me there is just too much fabric and not enough shape to it. I cannot see how it could be flattering on anyone bigger than a size 2.

Also- dress/skirt over jeans is a huge pet peeve of mine. Ugh.

You don't have to style it how it is shown. They are essentially wraps. You can style them anyway you want. They letter I got with them says there are over 100 different ways to style it. They all have different shapes. I came up with my own way to tie it today, and I think it looks really nice. I will try to take pictures and post them later, if I can find a working camera. It looks cute.

The way they are styled in the pictures looks like south asian sarongs. I think they are cute.

Also the toe shoes are terrible. I actually have two reasons I cannot wear them: 1) they are terrible, and 2) my second toe is longer than my big toe, so they wouldn't fit.

man, those toe shoes are awesome!

as a professional ninja, i think they would be great for climbing into peoples bedrooms at night and dripping poison into their ears. i often find that in traditional shoes my toes aren't agile enough to quickly and quietly climb things.
those things could shave minutes off my murder time.

do they come in black?

I think the skirts are cute when not worn all bunched up.

I think the shoes are ridiculous. They make me laugh.

I have no idea how 511s fit, and would never buy jeans that I hadn't been able to try on first. Maybe you could look for some at a thrift store and try them on there before ordering? I dunno.

is your measured waist a 31 or do you just buy 31s? i can't think of any levis (except for some of the LVCs) that are true-to-size.
if your measured waist is a 31 and you want true to size buy a 29.
511s fit about 2" large around the waist?

generally i just get 32x32/30s(since usually 31s are a true-to-size fit but are rare as shit to come by) and they usually fit alright. now i'm thinking maybe i'll go for a 30

as for the whole buying online thing, it's pretty much my only option until summer because of where i'm located. it's online or like wal-mart or some useless shit like that

Wear them in and they could look that good!

I think Levi's sanforizes their raw denim that isn't the 501s, but check into it. If they're not sanforized, expect shrinkage of 1 size in the waist and 2 in the legs. It's not a bad idea to do a hot soak on them for about an hour so they shrink down a bit. Then, don't wash them at all at all unless you can't avoid it, keep things in the same pockets so the friction creates awesome fades, and enjoy your beautiful new jeans!
