Batman curse

So I thought this might deserve a thread of its own. The speculation on the web that there is a curse on the Dark Knight made news headlines last night- First Ledger, then Bale gets arrested, and now Morgan Freeman's been in a near fatal car crash... so what do people think of this...

And film curses in general, Bruce and Brandon Lee... have there been others?

And least we forget Conway Wickliffe, a special effects technician, was killed during filming.

That said, I don't think the film is cursed. It's just a set of coincidences, some very tragic coincidences, but coincidences non-the-less.

Not to derail, but Bale got arrested? I thought he was just questioned and not formally arrested.

No, he was brought in for questioning and then put under arrest. He got out on bail about four hours later ("pending further investigation"), but still, it was definitely the real deal.

I think the most famous known curse when it comes to films has to be the Exorcist.

If you ever watch a making of you learn that several people had major accidents on the set, and a lot more committed suicide/died after the filming.

Guess that's what happens when you're running with the devil.

Devil movies in general are cursed. Just look at The Omen. About three people died while Donner and Peck nearly died about five times.

Actually I think that the worst curse of all movies are the _______ Movies. I keep ignoring them....and everyone seems to hate them......and yet....they still make insane amounts of money and they KEEP MAKING MORE OF THEM!! The writers should kill themselves....and yet, they don't.  I just hope they're very lonely.
