A project I'm working on.
« on: 18 Aug 2008, 12:47 »

using Moviestorm I decided I was going to do a little web-series and broadcast it on Youtube. (yay youtube!) It's going to be about alayums from outer space or something, but I need a few voice actors. =/ I thought maybe some of you kind folks would be interested in working on a project like this with me perhaps?

Sounds like fun, but I'm guessing you'll need to move this post to... well, I'm not sure.  But as it's not QC-related, somewhere in "Other Fun Things".

How will you do the recordings?

I can never get enough female voice actors, they are very hard to find for me, haha.
Excellent, a good bit of people seem to be interested in this, I'll have a script whipped up and send some lines to be recorded by you guys in PMs pretty soon.

Apparently I have a Southern or Canadian accent depending on who you ask). . . but really I'm from Florida and I can do different accents if need be. So yeah. . just whatever you need. =) As long as I don't have to sound like a man, we're good.

I would be interested if you need a generic semi deep male voice.

I'm interested as well.  (Female, natural contralto.  Adept at varying voice to other classifications.)

Same here, except I live in yorkshire so I guess my voice is vaguely yorkshire, as in ever so slightly. I'll be interested if you need that.

you just shot up my 'win' scale and hit the bell at the top.

*ding*

So, mind telling us a little about the storyline, to keep us ones who will be watching it interested?

Male baritone, can imitate other accents with enough time and practice.  Not much free time, though (school just started and I have three separate classes to plan  :-o ) if that's an issue.

It shouldn't be. this won't be very time consuming for the VAs.

I've decided to shoot the first episode on Moviestorm, then use Halo 3 for the rest of the machinima.
