You see, there are still faint glimmers of civilization left in this barbaric slaughterhouse that was once known as humanity. Indeed that's what we provide in our own modest, humble, insignificant... oh, fuck it. - M. Gustave

Shit man why is it that to me whatever comes out of that man's mouth seems right? But then again, no George Carlin, Alex Winter's acting career according to IMDB is kinda, pathetic (Ben 10? Ben 10!?) and trying to come up with a recent Keanu reeves movie that was good... yeah there's no hope for this at all. Like, I will listen to people talk all day about Keanu Reeves visiting sick children and be glad but I just dunno.

Yeah, but Keanu Reeves IS Ted. Like he's been in some decent movies, but seriously, every time I think of him being himself, he's Ted.

I don't know how I feel about it, it might possibly be terrible, but it's Bill and Ted.

This is totally non non non non non heinous.

I want to hate this idea, but I just can't.  I love Bill and Ted even though it makes me sad to think that there will be no Rufus.

Actually my first thought upon seeing this was "If they could somehow manage to fit Keanu's crushing existential angst into the character of Theodore Logan, then I'd conceivably give a shit about this"

Aww, sad Ted. He probably walks around saying, "Bogus. Heinous. Most non-triumphant," the whole movie.

I love the first two, have them on DVD, even watch them once in a while.  The Rufus angle is interesting.  There has to be a mention of him, and Alex said they're definitely not recasting the role, so that's good.  So at the very least, I'm curious as to what they come up with.  I just have to trust Keanu and Alex when they say that they won't do it if they don't think it'll be any good, but everybody knows that their careers aren't exactly in high gear right now.  Guarded optimism, for now.
