I doubt very much that he's in his 40s. I would say he's around he same age of Sven. I think he's supposed to look like the tortured, sleepless artist. Not old... (I think he's cute! ...You know, in that platonic "I love Webcomic characters" way that we love all of the characters...ah...I think I Just need to go back to bed, I've been having a hard time articulating things today).

He looks like he's in his mid to late 30s.  However, if he's a heroin addict, he could be in his late 20s.

I think he just looks skinny and has prominent cheek-bones, so it could be anywhere from 20-40... some people show age early, and others hardly at all.

He's like Keith Richards. He looks 40-50 years older than he is. Or maybe he's exactly like Keith Richards; he died around 10 years ago but rigor mortis refuses to kick in yet.

He looks kind of gaunt. The type of person who spends most of his time inside writing with a glass of wine next to him for inspiration, and a single candle for light.

He's probably the same age as Sven, but listen to him, he does seem to be a little... emotional. Emotional stress can add years to you.
