My boyfriend and I had been planning on going to the Small Press Expo (October 4 and 5 in Bethesda, MD) for a few months now, since we're both big fans of the guest of honor (James Kochalka, his art is my icon) as well as many other print comics artists who will be there. But I didn't actually look at the registration list until today, and who is attending but our very own Jeph Jacques?! Man, I'm going to have indie celebrity overload that weekend.
So I ask: is anyone going, either because they love comics or do a comic or just to meet Jeph? If so, we should meet up, I can post a pic of myself and give a description of what I'll be wearing so people can find me. Or I guess there's probably nametags and that works too.
(And hey, now I can get that T shirt I ordered in June finally!)
