Wait so you're letting something that happened 10 years ago ruin your quality of life? What are you, America? :psyduck:

I actually just found out about this not to long ago, from a co-worker. It is definitely sad to lose such a great guy!

Paul Newman was a really wonderful actor, in films and on stage. I had the honor to meet him a few times over the course of a few years as my father was designing the new Westport County Playhouse which Paul Newman was on the board of. He was a genuinely humble and friendly person who somehow hadn't become an asshole despite being famous. I feel like this is rare. Plus his company makes great fig newmans and all their profits go to charity which is awesome. He was a great person and the acting/philanthropic community has lost someone quite unique. Tis a sad day.

You are right. It is rare to find someone thatn genuine these days.

You are ever so lucky to have met him.

Damn I wish I was the first person on this thread to reference his salad dressings.

They were damn good salad dressings.

But cancer? Ah shizz.

Saw Novillero tonight and they played the one song from Slap Shot.

I was pretty sad then, but also happy that Paul Newman made some good films that I really enjoyed.

Salut, Paul Newman.
