"dear science" by TV on the radio, it's pretty fantastic. I'm really enjoying it, though I'm sure most people on here already know that

These Arms Are Snakes – Oxeneers or The Lion Sleeps When Its Antelope Go Home

I'd forgotten about this excellent record for a bit.  I got it when I saw TAAS open for Isis three or four years ago and their live show blew me away.  Angular post-hardcore with a good helping of keyboards.

No, in fact, I haven't even heard the follow-up to Oxeneers.  They kinda got lost in the shuffle and I just spontaneously remembered I had the album yesterday.  Is the new one good?

I haven't heard the new one yet either, but Easter was a pretty good record. "Horse Girl" is an awesome song.

"no virginia" by the dresden dolls

i must've heard one of their songs a long while back, because i had the idea in my head that they were a bit crap, but after randomly seeing one of their videos yesterday, and subsequently checking out a load more on youtube, i realised i like them!  tbh though, this album's a bit hit and miss, but ive since realised it's a rarities thing.  and it was only a few quid.  i'll be checking out "yes virginia" soon though.

Massive Attack's Teardrop.

And after that something that shuffle will pick me (ooh, and if it is Reijo Taipale, I won't listen it, nono).

Mclusky Do Dallas seems to be a great album so far. But, as I found out the hard way, The Record by Fear is awful IMO

These are tracks originally recorded in the 90's at Reznor's studio in New Orleans.  They are delicious.

"static prevails" by jimmy eat world.  haven't listened to these guys in a while, but since buying "futures" the other day, i've been inspired to listen to all their albums over again.  such a great band, who i've never given enough credit to.

possibly the dirtiest sounding rock record i've ever heard.  like a less mathy drive like jehu on hallucinogenics.

Your mother screaming for more.

I miss yo mamma jokes.  That trend was completely smothered by "That's what she said" and "Bom chicka wah wah".

Oh, and I'm listening to "Milano" by Sigur Ros.  It's one of those songs where I can't understand why it's just a deep-cut.

I really started listening to stars with after the war came out, but ever since I got set yourself on fire, I rarely listen to it.

Really like stars, though, definitely high on my list.
