I'm listening to the two songs that have been released from the upcoming Riceboy Sleeps album. That's the band with Jonsi from Sigur Ros and his boyfriend playing what seems like an album's worth of amazingly gorgeous ambient tracks (with quartet Amiina on strings!). These two tracks are fantastic! So soothing and beautiful, they sound organic and make me feel like I'm drifting in space or something. I cannot wait for this album to come out!

unless i have them mixed up with someone else, it might be because they're signed to Korn's record label... it's more than likely that people would dismiss them when they heard about the Korn association. what sort of stuff do they play?

yeah, they were... I think they've broken up now. but it was like a 6 year wait for their last album...

how to describe what they play... the gothy, post-retro, poppier than they'll admit hard rock with just a hint of the "bleh! I am drac-oo-la" additude... they cover paint it black and tom sawyer (<like THOSE have never been covered!) and the lead singer is cher's son.

not the most complex stuff, but catchy with LOADS of personality( some might say TOO much!)
