I know I'm not the only one who noticed this, but todays comic has Hanners green to baking? She baked her own birthday cake!

R...r..right?

Good point! Someone's really awake here!

Maybe she bought her cake and lied?

Fair enough Metope, fair enough. I guess I just assumed she whouldn't buy something like that.

You know, something someone else made.

Touched.

Might have sneezed on.

You've got a point there. Maybe she... boiled it first?

It looks home-made, at least, all the cakes I make look like that.

Oh wait, it's a comic.

Unless she's growing her own grains and chocolate and whatever else are the raw materials for cake, she already buys stuff that's had interactions with other people.

True, but that stuff, unlike a cake, comes packaged.  Maybe the packaging offers the illusion of cleanliness.  Or enough of an illusion that Hannelore can ignore the truth.  (Hm, I think that principle holds true for many relationships between things and people.)

Cakes are not cookies. Thus being able to produce the former does not garauntee the latter, does it? Hmmmmm?

  Thread over.
