You stated explicitly what this art was of in the title. If people clicked on it, they did so knowing what was going to occur. If they find the subject matter not to their taste, then really, they had no right clicking on the link to tell you so. Equally, the art, although erotic, does not cross that hazardous line that separates erotica from pornography, and therefore does not break the rules. Sure, furries kind of gross me out a lot, but that is my opinion and asides from that part of my opinion is the main part, which is that it is also Good Art. So.

Hey Andy, I am guessing you are more comfortable with digital drawing rather than traditional stuff, right? Your digital work looks much more polished and the proportions of them seem more balanced than the ones you have drawn (portrait #3's skull is very flat at the back, for example)

I'm more comfortable with digital colouring, and more comfortable with traditional lines. The portraits are all less than an hour work(except the first one), which may be why they seem imbalanced.

I like breasts. I like furries. Sometimes they collide.



also, Jeans it's okay, I'm kinda used to it. It's more hurt feelings that I get lumped together with all the really weird strange and D: furries. It's not even a fetish thing for me I just like to draw them because they're more varied than people.

Well to be fair, anyone who draws anthropomorphic characters get made fun of for drawing furries, even the ones that aren't all that "furry". Why would this thread be any different, seeing as they are straight up furries? It was basically a given that it would happen; if not by regulars than by some random person wandering past.

These are immensely impressive!

I love the mirror picture, but I'm not sure the girl's expression in the full mirror quite correlates to the side mirror view. It seems like her lips are slightly further apart in the latter, and her eyes at a different angle. (That's a tiny, mechanical, nitpick though.)

The shadowing on "Shoooes" is superb. And the creases in the sheet under the left heel. That's amazing detail.

Cool colours in the "Blue man" one, nice idea.

I like the autumn picture, very Klimtian. It reminds me of "The Birchwood".


The sketch for the gender bending picture is cute, and the "Sneakers!" bizarre, but excellently so.

Less keen on the fantasy-themed ones, but I guess that's a personal preference.

Anyway, you have a superb eye for light - thanks for sharing the pictures!

Man I would probably not call what I saw furry art. I mean, a couple of the images have been removed by Photobucket so maybe I missed out on the really disgusting stuff but all I'm seeing is anthropomorphic animals kind of hanging out and sitting around. I'm ok with that. Also the drawings look good!

I just find it kind of funny people are saying things like "a lot of boobies" when there really aren't very many. Of course, this is entirely subjective, I suppose; is it a lot of boobies when you have more than one pair in a picture? Or is like a half dozen boobies in one page a lot? Either way, I didn't think we ever hit either threshold. Don't let me keep you from making fun of furries though.

Also, the wolf being intellectual property of a friend hits me as kind of odd considering how much it reminded me of the depiction of the kami Amaterasu (basically, it's a flaming wolf spirit tasked with restoring nature to the world) present in Okami. Not saying they're ripping it off, per se, just saying that they can expect to see about a bazillion people with wolf nature spirit portfolios on deviant art over the next few years.

Also, the amount of breasts is relative I guess, the majority of my sketchbook is naked women/figure drawing, nudity =/= sexuality to me so I have a hard time seeing what makes the threshold.

When I said "there's a lot of boobies" I meant that apart from the self portrait one (which has been taken down), I didn't really see why the ladies were topless. I don't normally listen to music (or do my hair) while naked/wearing no top, so the nudity in the pictures seem a bit gratuitous.

The big image dump makes it almost impossible to critique your work, just because there's so much of it.  If that wasn't the purpose, fine, but if you want people to talk about the technical stuff and stuff that you might want to look out for in the future, then you're kind of out of luck.

I look at the Megatokyo Art & Drawing thread, so I  kind of automatically go to try mention off proportions and all that whenever someone posts art, but it makes me forget that some people just like to show off.

For criticism I usually go places where the initial reaction isn't 'wtf furry' or 'lol fursuits'(which is an entirely different weird creepy thing ftr). I hang around Conceptart.org/deviantart/furaffinity/private art forums for criticism, or I have a circle of artist friends that I tend to ask privately for critiques while my work is still in progress. I just thought maybe some people would like to see some stuff.

But hey, I guess there's no difference between 'showing off' and, y'know, 'sharing'. But I guess if that's the case, I won't bother.

I mean it is all really good, but I especially like the shoes one. I think the perspective on some of the character drawings is a bit off, if you are wanting to hear criticism or whatever, but given the subject matter in most of it, that it isn't exactly like you're drawing lifelike characters and stuff then I don't suppose it matters so much.

The first 'furry' pic is also really good, I think.

Perspective is something that I've always struggled with, it's a pretty common issue so I'm not exactly DDDD: about it, not to mention 90% of the time forced perspective looks bad, but as far as anatomically, perspective is a D: moment for me, but thank you very much~

I never meant "show off" as a negative thing. The big drawing thread is basically there for people to show what they have been drawing. Hell, I show off what I have been doing to people a lot (normally by linking it in gabbly where a lot of people can see it) because I am proud of what I have done. I probably wouldn't show off stuff I'm not proud of, because what's the point? If i wanted people to point out all the things wrong with it then I can do that myself.

I have no problem with you posting more stuff in this thread, I am insanely jealous of your colouring skills and like seeing how you do certain things (and honestly, one opinion shouldn't stop you from doing what you want) I'm just saying that I normally go straight to critiquing so I have to remember to shut that part of my head off. I wasn't commenting on you specifically, it was more a general clarification.

I thought you did something for that Evolution/Evolve (whatever it was called) festival. You should definitely offer your drawing services to people! I'm sure there are plenty of projects in your area (unless you live in the middle of nowhere) that would like free poster art, or other kinds!

nice portraits and I like the painting of the legs with the bright red heels. the contrast of the dark colors with the fiery shoes really grabs the attention.  My favorite out of all of them.  great work, you have some awesome talent!
