Thank God for Daft Punk?
« on: 22 Oct 2008, 10:24 »

Jeph may thank God, but God thanks the French for Daft Punk.

Some less common Daft Punk tracks that you really want to listen to:

Daft Punk - Musique
Scott Grooves - Mothership Reconnection (Daft Punk Mix) (This is a remix of Parliament Funkadelic's "Mothership Connection")
Daft Punk - Essential Mix (02/03/1997) (IMHO Daft Punk's best mix ever.)
Daft Punk - Essential Selection (31/12/1999)
Daft Punk - Live at Coachella 2006 (Very similar to Alive 2007 which was their performance at Bercy, apparently)
Daft Punk - Da Funk (10 Minutes of Funk Mix)
Daft Punk - Daft's Groove
I:Cube - Disco Cubizm (Daft Punk remix)
Daft Punk - Pierre Stupide
Daft Punk - Shut It (featuring Cassius & Dimitri from Paris)

Also, this thread is founded on poor principle. This is like saying "you should really look into getting diamond teeth, they're super", when you know full well that your average QCer does not have the opportunity for getting said teeth.

In other words, when you recommend a B-side or other rarity, it is good form to mediaf!re it for the rest of the class.

You guys gotta relax.  You can just not click on the topic.  I don't post here often and don't really care how many other topics there are for Daft Punk or how near to each other they are.  I mainly posted this one for the punchline; and I don't care what you think about it.

And yeah, these tracks are like getting diamond teeth.  Nine out of ten dentists prefer bittorrent.  The other guy is deaf.

Daft Punk - Daft's Groove
Daft Punk - Pierre Stupide
Daft Punk - Shut It (featuring Cassius & Dimitri from Paris)

wat

These are all fake tracks (well, never even heard of "Daft's Groove"). For some real obscure Daft Punk, look up "Beta Wax", "Teachers", "Assault", and, while you're at it, the ORIGINAL version of "Chord Memory" by Ian Pooley (the DP version blows).

Thank you.

Sorry Timmy, we did everything we could to try to save the thread, but it was just too badly injured. Sometimes the patient says "It's time for me to go", and man, ya just gotta let 'em go.

It's in a better place now.
