What's with the ångström on "Måché"?
« on: 05 Nov 2008, 19:37 »

Is it just me, or is "Papier mâché" showing up as "Papier måché" on your browsers?

( http://forums.questionablecontent.net/index.php#3 see: "Papier måché dildos" )

Is this an inside joke?

Sometimes when our venerable overlord Jeph partakes in the drinking of alcoholic beverages he fucks with the forum names and descriptions for everyone's amusement. Pay no mind.

Do you still pronounce it the same way? Not that it really matters.

hey guys,
the meaning of "papier maché dildos" or specificaly of "papier maché",
because i think you might know the meaning of the last word is an art form
where you use paper, mostly from newspapers and glue. normaly you have a form made
from wire and you put the nwespaper on it, then some glue, than paper and so on...
when this stuff gets dry it becomes hard and you have a stabil piece of art :)

I excuse if there may be mistakes in this text. i'm from germany so my english is probably not perfekt
the word "papier maché" exists in germany though i think it's origin is france
