Rap album covers
« on: 29 Oct 2008, 02:49 »

http://ffm713.skyrock.com/

This blog is basically nothing but obscure rap album covers.  Some of them are pretty amazing.  Here are some of my favorites ...

Lil Sin featuring C-Ordell - Frustrated by Death

Fila Phil - Tha Hustla Returns

NHC - Respect the Game (Boot Life)

Magnolia Shorty - Monkey on tha Dick

Geto Boys - Uncut Dope

CMP - Da' Game

I feel like this thread could be like Something Awful's Fashion SWAT except it would never end.

I for one would like to see a remixed, blinged-out, possibly animal version of this:

Hmm. I wonder if there are enough photoshopers on QC to do a "bling my CD cover" thread.

So... any particular reason that all but two of the rap covers had dis-proportionately large objects in them? Is that the fashion for all the hep cats these days?

No way, is that a window in the side of the ludicrously oversized boot!?  Nothing says HARDCORE GANGSTA like an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe reference.

Awesome Big Bear cover

I have this album on my computer, can mediafire it if anybody is interested. The actual album is pretty ordinary, but I keep it around just because the cover cracks me up every time.

Which is, if I recall, a callback to an old 2 Live Crew album cover.

I think that Crazy cover might be my favorite. And the best album name ever, as well.

Oh man, can you Mediafire the Bangers & Cash? I love Spank Rock.

And I'd listen to Seanessy just because JT Tha' Bigga Figga is on it.

Probably because all those half-naked women in his house keep blocking his view of Monday Night Football.
