A free, easy to use webcomic host
« on: 23 Nov 2008, 22:58 »

Hello webcomic makers!

I have made a webcomic host for all you lazy and or not-so tech-savvy people to use. You can easily make a webcomic (or multiple webcomics), get your own webcomic site for them which you can then manage and customize. So if you have a webcomic and need somewhere to put it, I'd appreciate it if you would take a look and gave my host a try.
You can edit the HTML of your webcomic, and it's ad-free. That doesn't mean you're not allowed to put up ads on your webcomic, though. If you choose a default layout, it'll link to the host, but you are free to remove that link.

Anyway, if you are interested or just want to take a look (or sign up so in case it ever gets old you have one of the early account and can be a jackass about it (not that I do that))

Here's the link: webcomic hosting
Or in german: webcomic host

A brief list of it's features is available here

Thanks for your time

Eh, it could help some people. And at least it wasn't his first post, and he made the effort to introduce himself in the appropriate place. I say the post can stand.

Sorry if it's a little rude of me to advertise so early. I'd understand if you guys trashed it, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't.

Man the idea is a pretty good one but the amount of simply awful webcomics you are hosting appalls me. Are there really that many people out there who can't draw or write for shit but think they can?

You have no idea. Yeah, unfortunately there's always good and bad comics. Can't really kep the bad ones out, though.
