they won't breakup. I can't even let myself think they will. we all know deep down we want to see what kind of fucked up wedding Dora and Marten are gonna think up. Faye as maid of honor. Sven or Jimbo as bestman! pintsize/winslow as the ring bearer/flowerbot some totally random indie band at the reception.

Um, I for one don't want to fathom what Faye will be experiencing at that wedding, can you say train wreck?

I think such an event might be the shark-jumping moment for QC.

Staying together is stagnation? I can see how it may make the plot seem monotenous, but I don't see how it's a sign their relationship is going getting old.

Don't worry folks, she wasn't hit by a bus and discombobulated--she only wishes that would happen. Right now.

If she's a clearer thinker, of course, she wishes the bus would mow down Marten and Dora.

And kgbisouttogetme, I can't begin to describe how pissed I was that those toys came out when I was too old for anyone to give some of them to me, and too young to have the nerve to buy them for myself. Truly, childhood is wasted on children.

I have mixed feelings about this strip though. I was really, really hoping for some Dora insights coming into focus for a moment the way we got to see things with Faye, so either one of two things is going to happen. Either this little story ends on its funny note and we, again, do not get to learn anything else about Dora or we get Part Two of Angry!Dora and this drags out for a little longer, but hopefully leading to more character development. Depending on if the cup is half empty or full, this situation seems like win/win and loss/loss.
