Nah the face isn't right. Similar but definitely not the same (I know too many little kids).

Dear blag,

Today one of the kids is having a birthday so there is a pool party and I kindof have to make an appearance so people will think I actually like them. Which sucks, because I really don't need so see a fuckload of really really really hot girls in bikinis. I mean, yeah, it'd be awesome to see, but yeah, my struggle with avoiding infidelity is bad enough as it is.

Love,
Me!

etc.

Saturdays may be boring as hell but sometimes things like this happen and it improves the whole day.

I get to do this stuff every day. We get soooo many adorable little kids at Bath and Body Works, it's ridiculous. I play peek-a-boo on a daily basis and it just makes me giggle.

My grandmother from Hawaii is in town. I am supposed to go visit her at my parents house today. I've never actually met her. I'm not sure what to do or think about it.

My mom wanted to pick me up from work today, so I could go meet my grandma, but I told her I needed to get home first to record some stuff. She sounded annoyed. I don't think she likes the idea of me recording my life.

I recorded three things last night. I watched them again this morning. Its heart breaking. It is seriously depressing.

Hey you thread,

Tonight in order to keep myself from being bummed out that boy did not call me back, I went shopping and found dress possibilities and bought some flats I can wear to work. Then I went over to my friend's apt and the two of us plus her boy and their roommate ordered pizza and watched Hot Rod. That movie is possibly the worst movie ever that is still kind of funny. Like, we were laughing our butts off but I could tell I would have stared at the TV in horror for a few minutes before ejecting it if I had watched it by myself. But I am less bummed out, so I guess it worked.

tania! i have a crush on him too! i didn't know other people did!

today i went to chinatown (sf), we almost ate at sam wo's, which was a restaurant conan promoted when he was in SF for a week. but we had to wait a bit and it didn't look too appetizing and we were unsure if it was actually good or not. when we realized that there were no asian people eating in there we decided to go down the street to some other restaurant, which was a good idea! good restaurant. then we just walked around chinatown a bit more. i bought some sunglasses!

good day today. i don't want to return to school on monday.

PS. i like this one better

Hot Rod has to be one of the greatest movies ever filmed, no doubt. Its audacity to be the one of most ridiculous films ever produced puts it at the top for me.

Hey there guys. Yesterday my girlfriend had a revelation. You see, she realized that for the first time I am spending Easter away from home and so would not get an Easter Basket on Easter. And being the awesome girl she is, this was not acceptable. So she took it upon her to go out and put together an Easter Box. But not just any box. No, this, ladies and gentlemen, is my very own, hand-painted, personalized Bunny Box™.

The long side of my official, hand-painted Bunny Box™

The other side, complete with paratrooper Easter bunny.

I'm not supposed to open the box until Easter morning, but right now I am so stupidly happy that I don't really care   :-) :-) :-)

So, out of the five movies I rented a few  days ago, I have watched three. All three of them have skipped (or in the case of one, froze completely and I couldn't even fast forward) and screwed up. I was in the middle of watching Lars and the Real Girl, and was really enjoying it; now I am watching 60 minutes and it's trying to tug at my heartstrings with the dying kiddies and I just want to be watching my movies, dammit.

I am going to take these dvds back tomorrow and complain because they were all covered in fingerprints and scratches and I might as well just buy the movie and watch it. Fuckers.

Dear Blog thread.

More people are following Coldplay on Twitter than steven fry.

What the hell is wrong with this planet.

Also, found out yesterday that one of my friends had a crush on me when we first met, this is both somewhat suprising and kind of cool, its the first time I had ever assumed people might like me straight off the bat.

Dear diary

i was watching youtube and looking otters and i though "aww thats cute" then i looked at comments thinking that other people thinks that otters are cute but what i find is spam comment "Monster movie rape scenes_THESWEETDOLLS...COM_ "and that almost ruined my day.

After that i looked some wombats again i thougth "aww what a cutie pie... wait i havent eated an pie in years but i havent had twinkie never in my life" at this point i was hungry so i started lookin at food ads and i find Billy mays who is scary as hell and why is he yelling? is he angry? but that city thingie is quite tempting but i can eat two those mini burgers max, so what i would do to those other three other beefs i knnow that i could on do two but it would be waste of energy and i have order that thing it would cost much for me because those posting fees.

At this point my mind is working overtime because all the shit is running in there then i just hit the brakes and pour another vodka shot and made some sandwiches.

when i was a freshman, a friend of mine in the same grade as me was dating a lady who was a senior cos they had met in latin club and were both great big latin geeks. they were really cute together!

admittedly the only time i can recall a senior dating a freshman ever being cute, but yeah, there are exceptions. just... not very often.

Someone in residence in first year got seriously sick one night from drinking and threw-up so hard that she burst the blood vessels in both eyes. She seriously looked like an extra from a vampire movie, here eyes were just super-bloodshot they were almost entirely red at it's worst.

Ew.

I dated a freshman when I was a senior in high school (and I dated a college freshman when I was a senior in college) but I'm kind of a special case because I skipped a grade really early on so there wasn't even a full 2 years age difference either time.  I didn't even turn 21 until after I graduated from college.

I expect that when I am 24 I will probably end up dating a girl who isrecently 22 and a senior in college.  I was actually kind of weirded out by how closely my last years in high school and college paralleled that way.

Right now I am not dating anyone though and I'm kind of bummed about it.

The golden rule only applies if you date down three years before graduating. A fifteen year old dating a twelve year old is pretty god damn creepy.

One of my friends is a senior in college and is dating a senior in high school. I mean, it's only a 4 year difference. It gets less weird with age. Was it kind of weird to the rest of us in the older group? Yes at first, but we've known the girl for years and really is a nice girl.

But yeah, in high school it was kind of creepy for an 18 year old to be going after someone who was 14/15, but that's just because a lot happens in those years. But really, once you're legal, age is a number. One of my coworkers is 32 and his bf is 21 and they are pretty ok with this.

But yeah, in high school it was kind of creepy for an 18 year old to be going after someone who was 14/15, but that's just because a lot happens in those years. Because, lets be honest, a lot of the girls they are dating want to date a senior because then they are dating a senior. And the senior wants to date them because the girl will probably put out.

Now, this isn't to say that all cases are like this, but, come on, lets be real with this.

In my friend's case, considering they are both Christian and still virgins, no not really. Which is one of the reasons it doesn't bother me because I KNOW he's not using her. Not that he would anyways, because he's just one of those ridiculously nice guys.

Other people, yes, I know this is why this happens. Which is why it's so gross.

It does get a whole lot less creepy after you're legal but people mature a whole lot in those four years (usually) and someone who is 14 is vastly different from someone who is 18. Once you're 20 or so, it's not so weird to date someone fours year different than you.

I'm 20 and my girlfriend doesn't even turn 17 until the 10th of next month. I love the girl madly, but this is not an example of how it normally works (the girl I dated for a week before her is a prime example). LISTEN TO THIS DUDE.

Dear blag,

Today I ditched Akademi because you know what it's fucking Easter and it is my last holiday with my mom before I leave, so fuck you Akademi, I am spending time with my mom even if she is slightly insane.

Tomorrow everybody has a test, and whoever doesn't know the songs gets booted right then and there. I am kindof hoping they spring that shittastic Italian song on us, because man, I do not know that song at all.

Love,
Me!

(My first real boyfriend and love and sexual partner was seven years older than me, we were together for three years starting when I was almost 15. While it soured in the last bit, it was still the best, most loving, functional relationship I've had both sexually/emotionally despite being 1400kms away from each other a huge majority of the time.)

Dear Blog Thread,

My life has been pretty horrible and stressful lately, really really, I am at one of those 'stages' in life where everything is changing and I don't understand. I have been sick and found out ti's a chest/sinus/throat infection.

But it's okay because I have one friend who while sparse can totally cheer me up and make me feel stronger and he's totally the greatest and I wish he knew.

I have a new project! I started it a couple of weeks ago. So far, it has been fairly fun. The thing is that I write down the title and author of every book I read, the reading time and place and also my (very short) opinion on the book and (my favourite part!) my favourite sentence from the book. Where did I get that idea from? Another book, of course. The plan is to write this stuff down for several years, and then later on, you can follow your steps on your "literary voyage" or whatever you want to call it. Also, I love shopping for notebooks and/or making them, so this really is the perfect project. It would be fun if somebody else did this and we could compare! Anyone want to play?

I'm considering starting a blog for this, but I don't know if anyone would want to read that. I wouldn't want to write anything personal in that blog, just about the books I read. I don't know, maybe.

Ok I really need to go now - there are two (!) disgustinly large spiders in my room and I need to do something about that.

(Edit: Am I nerdy because I enjoy that sort of thing?)

www.wordpress.com is pretty great. Wordpress is awesome, and the .com "version", while not up there with the self-hosted version, is pretty damn good. And if you ever want to move beyond the hosted version, then it's easy to export your posts etc.

But yeah, I definitely recommend www.wordpress.com over, say, blogger.com.

Freshman = 1st year of High School
Sophomore = 2nd year
Junior = 3rd year
Senior = Final year of all school except uni

I think of freshman as first year uni, etc.

It's cute that that's gone over to high school though.

Where I live, the seperation of high and middle school is the sophmore year, there hasn't been a clear reason for this but I spent my freshman year in junior high.

Yeah, that's how it used to be where I live, but they switched it in the middle of my 7th grade so I only had two years of junior high.

Hey Blog thread, It has been revealed that my sister is preggers. I am hoping for a nephew.

A friend of mine is a sophomore and is dating a senior. I have not noticed any weirdness/awkwardness about it.

also, what if you are at college/university for more 4 years?

I took 5 years to get my degree, and the preferred term was "super-senior" meaning anything more than 4 years.
