Pintsize started crying (or something along those lines) roundabout strip 1250, and he burned several holes in Marten and Faye's couch, Faye even commented that they'd throw a blanket over it or something. Yet I have yet to see another strip with said holes. Did they fix it somehow, or did they get a new couch that looks exactly like the old one?

Seriously though, love the comic, don't mind the occasional discontinuity either, but this one happened to catch my eye this evening.

Hmmmmm... I counted 111₂ right ear, and 101₂ left ear. However, I am two glasses of Laphroaig into the counting process, so that may be a problem.

And I don't have Hannelore's OCD counting accuracy, so I figure I may be off by +/- 10₂.

I just realized I was wrong about the question that is the reason for this thread.

Obviously what happened was that Pennelope's parents were in town and performed a faith healing ceremony on the couch. The couch's faith was so strong that the burn holes miraculously disappeared.
