Whoa, other people have trich! That is actually really comforting, I spend a lot of time really hating myself for that part of me. I've told two people (aside from my mom, who was the first person to notice), and the explanation was loaded with a lot of "Listen, I think this is gross, too" kind of hedging. I used to have really long hair and recently cut all of it off (whoo excuse awkward face) because I was sick of bald spots and putting the part on my hair in different places and wearing my hair up and hats. So I figured if the hair was short enough, I wouldn't pull it out? I dunno, terrible plan. All I know is now I am looking at my tweezers longingly and thinking, God no don't go there, Clara. I am really terrified I will totally go there.

(Don't think I am weird, I know it is weird :()

man I have been trying really, really hard to beat my trich lately. it's so hard and I keep giving in a little bit but I think my body is finally starting to heal, albeit slowly. clara I have been hiding my tweezers cause even seeing them sets it off! but really you are totally not weird. clearly it is a lot more common than any of us thought because nobody ever wants to talk about it since it's so stigmatized. it is basically the shittiest thing for self esteem (which I personally am already running low on).

you look so awesome with short hair, anyways.

I dare say you look a lot like Maggie from Northern Exposure with that haircut.

This is certainly not a bad thing.
