I searched a couple terms and didn't find any threads like this so I wanted to start a post your rig thread

Here's my baby

CPU: Intel Core 2 2.66 GHz
MOBO: Asus Striker Extreme ATX nForce 680i SLI LGA775 Socket
RAM: 2x2 GB G-Skill
Video: 2x: Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16
HDD: 2x 512 GB 7200 rpm SATA
POWER: Coolmax Green Power 700 Watt
Integrated sound

This thread would probably be a bit more interesting if you posted pics of your setup along with the specs. We were kind of already doing this in the The "PC-building/hardware knowledge" thread, but enough people are probably interested in this to have a separate thread & let the other thread go back to a help & advice thread.

So anyway, at the moment I've got an Antec Mini P180

with the following hardware inside:

- DFI LanParty Jnr mATX P45-based mobo (onboard sound)

- 1000w Antec TruePower Quattro PSU
- Intel c2d E6750 (plan is to go to an E8500 or Q9400/9550 in a couple of months)
- Thermalright Ultra120 Extreeeeeeeeem CPU cooler with a generic Antec 120mm case fan on it for now
- 4gb OCZ Reaper PC2-8500 ram (2 sticks, plan is to go to 8gb in a couple months)
- Radeon HD4870 gfx card (original version, so I'm pretty sure it's only got 512mb ram)
- 150gb WD VelociRaptor for OS + 500gb Seagate drive for data

CPU and ram are at stock speeds at the moment, the 4870 is running at 860mhz core and 910mhz ram with modified fan speed settings.

Oh, and I have a Samsung 2243BW (22" Widescreen monitor)

(I promise you it looks a lot more impressive on my desk)

and a set of these Klipsch speakers (that I am currently using on my TV due to a lack of decent speakers for the loungeroom)

I'm running a Core 2 Duo e8400 9.0x400MHz=3.6GHz OC at stock volts. 4 GB G.Skill DDR2800 @4-4-4-12. Single EVGA GTX260 core 216 SC @626MHz core, 1350MHz shader, 1053MHz memory. Gigabyte EP45-UD3R mobo.

Here's my workstation. The display in the middle is an LG Flatron L227WTG 22" wide. The speakers are a Logitech 5.1 setup, I forget the model. It's alright, but the sound isn't particularly balanced or full, though definitely worth the $50 I spent.

I have that same keyboard, dennis. I was so pleased with how sturdy it is considering it's thinness. I just wish it was 10% bigger so I didn't have to cramp my hands so much sometimes. I got really lucky in it being a nice thing to type on since buying keyboards online is like trying to buy a comfy chair via telegram.

It's probably the best keyboard I've owned, and I've owned plenty. I was previously using a Logitech S510 cordless, but I didn't like the layout of the editing keys. I was in the market for a tasteful illuminated keyboard for gaming, and this one fit the description almost perfectly. No row of special function buttons that I would never use, and the single-row enter key.

I like how the key travel is pretty deep, even though the keyboard is so thin.

Biggest mistake ever, in most cases it runs worse than a single card.

My cards are ace in sli (80% improvement over 1 card) and cheap, they are like gimped 8800's made with newer chips (g92's which are like g80's but 65nm) so they run faster and cooler.

I used to have a 320 8800 (bfg oc2) but chucked it before a LAN, so glad I did as a single 9600 outperformed it in 3dmarks and source stress test.

9600GT's are the best value cards I have ever used, they are brilliant bang for buck because they are cheap and underrated. Just don't expect it to perform as well as a card at twice the price.

I payed $100 for it, so maybe 45 GBP? Same price range as a g15 or a razer lycosa (this was my other option, but the logitech is prettier) but with the lcd and macro keys traded for comfort and style.

Sometimes I think Monopoly did me a disservice; whenever I see foreign currency lt looks like play money to me. It doesn't help that the 5 dollar Monopoly bill actually is pink either.

I wanted to say it's that explorer dude. The antarctic guy. Then I looked it up, and realised that the last time I'd taken notice of a 100 dollar note was before the plastic notes came in, which made me rather sad.

The L-shaped enter key doesn't bother me at all, and i won't complain because I won it as part of a prize package at ShowdownLAN 2007 after winning the Company of Heroes Game Tournament on my computer pictured

I also won 500 bucks, my case, Company of Heroes expansion, and an Intel Q6600 Processor. The proc is sitting on a shelf right now, I never got around to building a rig based off an LGA 775 motherboard, I'm debating on using it in my current build or going core i7... but I'll take it as a winnings for playing a game anyday

We have a bunch of Antec 900's at work, they are definitely one of the better ventilated cases that we have.

I cannot agree more, sir! My previous case was a Sunbeam Acrylic case, which was cramped and had little airflow, looked good, but airflow and ventilation was practically nill, lest I cut holes in it. I'm using an Antec 1200 case in my build in progress.
