Shirt Disappointment

I can't be the only one, can I?

Now, I love it when Jeph throws up a new design (even if I'm ass poor and can never afford them). But when I saw the "new shirt" link, I clicked, expecting all my hopes and dreams to be fulfilled! Love to the world! Food to the poor! The jelly dildoes will...well, you know, let's not talk about my dreams.

I was sincerely expecting to be greeted with a US Department-themed shirt, seeing as half of the forum-goers have been clamoring loudly for one. And while I like the new design...it's not what I was hoping for.

Did anyone else get this, "Aw, it's not US Department of Kicking Your Ass" when looking at the new shirt?

I want it, too. I want Jeph to put out. Er, I want anything Jeph has ever put out. I just got my hopes up.

I love the shirt, especially since my recent obsession with zombies(werewolves and vampires are too trendy these days)

IMO, after Left 4 Dead the zombies have passed those two on the list of 'too trendy'. Still, the shirt is very cool.

I just got the image of a midwife and a woman giving birth swinging towards each other on a trapeze - when they meet, the midwife pulls the baby out. The knife juggler is standing on the floor and cuts the umbilical cord with a a knifethrow.

I like left 4 dead, it is a brilliantly made game.

zombies have been around way longer then werewolves and vampires, so technically zombies are retro in comparison.

I've been pretty disappointed in Jeph's shirts since, well, the beginning.

But that's OK. Jeph's not a shirt kind of guy. So I go to the con and buy the con print, and I'm OK with that. Support your local [or not-so-local] webcomic guy!

I love the fucking hell out of his shirts, and if I wasn't asspoor I'd order all of them. And his new shirt grows on me more and more, its just with all the clamouring for U.S. Department shirt I thought he might, you know, introduce something that a lot of people have expressed interest in buying.
