Song in episode of Scrubs

Hello folks,

In the first season of Scrubs, in the Christmas episode, when Turk is running to the Christmas tree there is a song playing. Someone I know suggested it was by Nina Simone, but I can't find what song it is on wikipedia, does anybody know?

It is indeed Nina Simone, specifically her amazing performance of the traditional song "Sinnerman" off the album Pastel Blues. Fun fact: this song also featured in an episode of Homicide: Life on the Street!

This song is fucking epic. All ten minutes. Magnificent.

But annoyingly, the legal downloading site I use, has this as the ONLY song from its home album that I can't download. Fuckers.
