Yeah, things like that is why I added the wildly inconsistent Bronson Arroyo and the broken husk of Scott Kazmir to my bench when a couple of my batters hit the DL this last week. I don't trust either of them in any way whatsoever, but frankly, the free agent pool is fucking dire right now.

That, and there's no way in hell I'm starting a slumping Ricky Romero at Texas.

My only speed threat is out for the year. One of my top power threats is likely out for the year.

Boo injuries.

You should look at the starting rotation for McFeely's Deliveries.

With less than two weeks until the season opener, it probably would have been smarter for me to check out this possibility earlier, but how much interest would there be in an NFL fantasy league? Considering we all have accounts set up already, it would be pretty easy to make another one.

I'd play, assuming some sort of interest from the other league members.

I can only name like ten NFL players, most of whom are convicted criminals at this point. I'm out.

I'm totally in on an NFL league.

I've given up on my fantasy baseball team just like both Chicago teams have given up on their respective seasons.

I'm already in 3 different fantasy football leagues, so I think one more would be too much.  Count me out.  I really liked how this league turned out though, so if you set up a fantasy football league earlier in the year for next season I'm definitely down.

I used to know most of the players on the Patriots, but I think they all play for Kansas City now.

"What should the tie breaker be, Jon?"

"Man, fuck that. What're the odds anyone will EVER have a tie?"

Fuck me running. I win ONE of those matches and I'm in the playoffs.

Speaking of, what was the tiebreaker?

I think head to head record, in terms of playoff position, but we obviously had nothing for individual games. We both figured that full on tie breakers would be an extreme rarity, when in reality, we had a fuck ton.

Congrats.

I'm kind of glad my last week was mediocre. I was kind of pissed off last week because I missed the playoffs by a hair and put up numbers good enough to earn a spot in the finals had I placed (My numbers last round topped everyone in the playoffs), which was damn frustrating (Especially since I faced three of four playoff teams in succession leading into the playoffs).

It was a fun time, though. I definitely caught a lot of stuff that we're going to have to do better setting up (Almost all of which I claim credit for) next year. Maybe we'll even try a keeper league next year, so that late season firesales will actually have some potential sense in them other than helping someone out.

I'm just bummed that Morneau had to go and get a stress fracture in his back just in time to potentially doom my fantasy team AND potentially the Twins' playoff hopes. You'd think I'd learn my lesson when it comes to highly drafting players on teams that I care about. It's even worse with my NFL fantasy team; I got Adrian Peterson and every time he takes a hit my heart skips a beat.

I like how I drafted by VORP, and two players I thought to be good at underrepresented positions, Russell Martin and Rafael Furcal, are basically the only two players on the Dodgers who didn't have outstanding seasons.

Losing Pena for the postseason sucked too, but I don't think that would have made a difference.

My biggest problem toward the ass end was my reliance on young pitchers on shitty teams. I had like three or four pitchers either get hurt or simply shut down for the season at the beginning of last month.
