Attention Everyone:

My team, collectively, posted a .150 batting average and a 40.50 ERA yesterday.

That is all.

My first pick is doing ok. Once he really heats up, should be good. My 2nd round (17th overall) is hitting .174 with 22 Ks. Basically, my 14th and 19th round picks are carrying my team. Hooooray autopick.

Yeah, Victor Martinez decided to up and salvage his career; if it weren't for that I'd probably be pretty boned right now.

Having Dexter Fowler on my team is going to be quite the rollercoaster ride. On the one hand, he's killing me on strike outs. On the other hand, 5 steals, 1 game, holy shit. Rookies give me heartburn.

I wouldn't worry about it, my team is 2/24 today. Justin Upton is responsible for literally every positive thing that is happening.

Yeah, I saw a 1-for-23 line when I checked earlier and nearly posted something but I didn't want to jinx it. Personally, I am disappointed in how they're merely grounding or flying out, for the most part. C'mon guys, how about some good ol' fashioned whiffs? They're still ahead of me on that one. It's like they can't even fail properly.

I like Taveras too. But I really hate Burnett. Like, I felt dirty selecting him even when he fell into the 9th round. Trust me, it's not like I expect Rodriguez to throw up another 60 saves.

Man, I know that the Rays aren't pitiful anymore, but things like a 13-0 Tampa-Boston line heading into the 9th is still fucking Bizarro world numbers.

The fuck is with position players pitching this season? Jonathan Van Every, who hit his first career home run the other night, pitched the last two outs in the eighth inning of tonight's Sox/Rays game. That's at least the third time it's happened this season (Swisher did it first and I'm reasonably sure someone else did it in the last week or two).

On that note, though he isn't on my team, let me just proclaim that Nick Swisher is the fucking bee's knees.  Dude is doing some great things for my boys from the Bronx.

That'd be Cody Ross, who sat out the next day with a sore arm.

Maybe with Mauer back the Twins will actually have some semblance of an offense now. I was getting kind of tired of watching Morneau cheerfully hit doubles without having anyone on the god damned bases.

Before anyone says anything I want to make it clear that the human strike out machine Chris Davis will just be warming my bench on the off chance that his dumb ass learns to swing at most balls instead of every fucking ball. God knows that with how deep this league is it's slim pickings for bench guys at times anyway.

Jesus, Scott Baker goes south in a hurry. This is why he's going to be riding my bench for a while in favor of some random crappy scrubs with decent k-rates.

Jesus Shit. My matchup with Rob this week is going to be fucking tight. It's pretty much coming down to the Chicago/Texas game. He's got a pair of relief pitchers in it and we've each got a batter in it.

Wut?

Scott Baker went 5 innings without letting anyone on base only to give up 5 consecutive hits (totaling 5 runs) without recording a single out in the 6th. Grade A meltdown. I'm just saying that I grabbed him when he was waived earlier but it's going to be a while before I trust him.

I'm just glad that I probably won't have to face a team with that much power again for a while. Dazed's team only hit six balls on Wednesday but three of them were dingers. I choose to blame Nick Swisher.

Honestly my team is usually very power-light. They score a lot of runs, and then I count on pitching to carry me. This week was basically a complete reversal.

EDIT: Actually, my team seems to perform incredibly in some random ways every week, I don't think I can fairly say they usually do anything.

I'm the opposite. My first two wins, my offense carried me. I mashed the fuck out of my opponents, but my WHIP and ERA were in the shitter. This week, however, I batted a paltry .256/.309, but I had an absolutely sick 2.15 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP.

That may be true but your paltry .256 beat my dismal .254. Also, why the hell did they pull Dotel? The guy pitched 0.2 innings without a hitch, all i needed was one damn k.

Even that poor outing from Baker didn't stop you from beating me, dude.  My only shot at winning any pitching categories outside of K's and saves was the start I was supposed to get out of Kyle Lohse, but goddamn rain delays kinda stopped that.  And I'm pretty sure I had no real shot at winning a batting category other than K's, and even that's only because I've got three guys on the day-to-day DL.

I drew Reed on a week in which both Greinke and Felix Hernandez are due to start twice. Time to just go all in on trying to win saves, I guess.

Greinke threw a complete game shutout with 10ks. At this point I'm hoping for a headline like "Greinke gone missing; believed to be trapped in mineshaft" to come up sometime before Sunday.

The sick part is that I'm relieved because that actually constitutes something of a lucky break for me since several of his other guys underperformed.
