Why is it everyone in the strip who's comfortable with sexuality is so unaccepting of the fact that other people aren't?  Tai, Dora.

People who are progressive think because their views are so indisputably correct they're justified in being as rude as they want to people who aren't and shoving their sexual openness in their faces.  This is why assholes like Rush Limbaugh have such an audience.
Meh, I find it weird and unhealthy for people to be vehemently anti something they actively desire based upon morals-for-the-sake-of-morals, but hey I wouldn't force my opinion on anyone and my friends are all pretty sexually open - and I know who I can talk about anal in public with and who I can't. Making people uncomfortable is never my aim, but given my active interest in sexuality it kinda comes up in conversation. *shrug*

As for Dora (Tai... I don't find developed enough as a character to have any real opinion on) I can't see that there was anything really offensive about it because if Faye really didn't want to go she wouldn't have gone. She's shown she's willing to say NO if she's uncomfortable enough - she wanted a vibrator, she just didn't want to go alone. My only irritation with the strip is Faye complaining about hearing the shop assistant's opinion on sex toys. Uh, sweetheart, it's her job to have personal opinions.

Yeah, me too.  My mind went to strange and terrible places involving vibrators and confetti before I figured it out.

I've noticed that the character expressions have been amazingly good lately. They always have at least subtle changes in expression from panel to panel, even if they're not in the action. Today is a prime example. Dora in panel three looks so cute, like she's amused and trying not to show it.

And I, too, must admit that images of vibrators and confetti danced around my head for a bit before I realized, "Oh...'came'. Nurr double entendre nurr."

@Blyss: I've been sigged!  I hadn't noticed. So happy.

I feel like this happened at my university.

A conservative group brought in an ultra-conservative allegedly racist speaker. - Straw Man 1

The protests was very big, and a window was [accidentally?] broken by some protesters outside drumming on the windows to drown out the speaker. - Straw man 2

The speaker didn't get to speak, kids got maced in the face.

Now the whole university is really embarrassed.

Can you actually make living doing that?

Jeez, what am I saying? This is America. Anyway, all claims to 'activism' aside, seems like Angus has at least one thing in common with Sven: they both put out messages they don't actually buy. Well, sort of... Maybe... Actually, Sven's probably the 'other guy' in all those country songs, Angus is encouraging the things he argues against, and I'm going to quit while I'm behind.

Faye needs a guy who believes in what he does. Maybe a nice mortician.

No, I see what you're saying, and I agree. It's like they've both sort of sold out, yet in a satirical type of way. Sven hates country music, but writes it anyway while laughing the whole time at how idiotic the people that buy his songs are. Angus argues against what he believes, but has to make himself look like he's an idiot therefore promoting what he believes.

I probably just confused everyone, but it makes sense in my brain. And I really don't like the Faye/Angus thing. He just seems too flat of a character for him to have any relationships with the main cast.

Damien: Well, that's a no-brainer. http://www.sybian.com/sybianindex.html
Of course, it's more than 4x the price, but when you put it in your ... well, in you, you will know where that money went.

Yeahhhhhh, the Sybian is kinda basic and totally different.  Something like THIS sounds closer to what the comic was actually talking about:

http://www.edenfantasys.com/vibrators/rabbit-vibrators/fujikos-asian-odyssey

There's also these:

http://www.edenfantasys.com/vibrators/double-penetration/triple-stimulator-dolphin-duo

http://www.holisticwisdom.com/vibrating-diva-pleaser.htm

http://www.theadulttoyshoppe.com/triple-ecstasy-vibrator-PD165211.htm

A trove of research indeed. However, none of these appear to be 'non-Euclidean'.  :-D

Who-- Wha-- Whe-- Some people have some vivid imaginations! Some of these vibes have more attachments than my DeWalt, and prolly consume more power.

Ad for non-Euclidean, Euclid only described plane geometry, so any geometry that can't be described as some rearrangment of a sheet, is non-euclidean, i.e. spherical geometry.

Is it just me, or does Tai in black and white without her glasses look an awefully lot like Hanners? Maybe Jeff took HanTai shippers too literally and fused them both into one smokin' hot chick.

Nah, I think it's just that a lot of the nuance that distinguishes the characters comes from the way Jeph colors them.

Also, In my Official (okay, self-appointed) capacity as Captain of the S. S. Fangus I'd like to take this opportunity to say:

"Now Faye! Now's your chance, ask him out before someone else snaps him up and he's gone forever!!!!"

This is a Thing with my art, Tai and Hanners have similar hair except Hanners' is poofy and unkempt and Tai's is short and curly. I need to work at this.

"And I really don't like the Faye/Angus thing. He just seems too flat of a character for him to have any relationships with the main cast."
(Sorry; I'm old and technologically impaired. I haven't figured out how to properly quote yet!)

I don't really have any preferences for what happens in the comic (except that I am still obsessed  dying to see  sick with anxiety and desire looking forward to seeing how this Sven/Faye/Dora fight ends up). I mostly just enjoy taking in whatever Mr. Jacques gives us. I'm not saying that I also think Angus is "flat," but if he is, it could just be because he hasn't been in the comic enough yet to develop much depth. So don't worry! You may find this all more enjoyable than you're currently anticipating! This last comic makes him a lot more interesting to me than he was before. If they have some sort of webcomic award for "most hilariously adorable job ever," I hope they give it to Jeph for his Angus work!

This is a potentially fun angle, regardless of the outcome! Either they become wonderful, aruging friends, wonderful, arguing enemies, or wonderful arguing lovers. I see no flaws in this!

I've been reading QC for... gosh... many years now... And it just keeps improving in terms of plot, art, and dialogue all the time. =)
