Did You Know: In the Undead Derby in PJJE East, the first and last plays resulted in the only fatalities of the game - and both say a new zombie join the opposing team! Emily of Pretty Cupcakes was taken out by the second block, while Nehekhara Nasties star player Billy Long-legs was beaten to death with the ball by Lilly while attempting to prevent her scoring. Six other casualties were taken in the game, with both coaches heard shouting at times "Get into them! FORGET THE BALL!"

Good news Blood Bowlers!

Apparently they got rid fo Unranked entirely, and all Unranked teams are now LEAGUE! Academy Teams can now switch to League. This means all of our old teams can be brought back and your academy teams are no longer useless heaps of dog shit. I personally plan on using 2 or 3 teams again. This also means our future tourneys can hav e alot more flexibility in what teams to use.

The crowd was sorely dissapointed with the matchup between Lunch B and Muppet's Vengeance tonight with an unfortunate series of blocks and lack of blood on the pitch!

The Angry Mummies of the Muppet's apparently thought they were in a mosh pit and were really doing nothing but pushing people around like fucking pansies and the few skellies that got seriouly hurt had the gall to regen like the inconsiderate bastard they are. Even Muppet's 3 attempts at fouling Werewolves of all things only ended up being little love taps with no successful fouls and no one even having the dignity to do it obviously enough to get caught! It ended on a draw and possibly in what is very likely to be the most dissapointing match of the season!

Edit: This just in, dissapointment from fans has caused comments such as "Even the Elves and the Amazons had a bloodier game than this!". We tried to get comments from Waldorf on the situation but he instead killed our field reporter. We have accepted this as a "no comment".

Also also, in case you were ever wondering, this is what the pitch looks like when an entire team has been eliminated.

Well, a big well done to Stephen (PJJE West) and Eric (PJJE East) for their respective inaugural conference titles.

Now, however, the playoffs are upon us and the season's big trophies are to be decided.

TROPHY PLAYOFFS

Muppet's Vengeance 3 - 2 Treekeepers

Game 1: 2 - 1
Game 2: 1 - 1

'Ette's vs. Lunch B

Trophy playoffs will be best of 2 game semi-finals then a best of 2 game final and a best of 2 game 3rd/4th place playoff.

SHIELD PLAYOFFS

Game Set 1: Venture Industries 1 - 2 Nehekhara Nasties
                   Game Results

Sneer Kings 1 - 0 Rulers of Verse
                   Game Results

                   Best Wing 2 - 0 Pretty Cupcakes
                   Game Results

Game Set 2: Pretty Cupcakes Win [Forfeit] Loss Venture Industries

Best Wing 1 - 1 Rulers of Verse
                   Game Results

                   Sneer Kings 1 - 0 Nehekhara Nasties
                   Game Results

Game Set 3: Venture Industries Loss [Forfeit] Win Sneer Kings

                   Nehekhara Nasties 1 - 1 Best Wing
                   Game Results

Rulers of Verse vs. Pretty Cupcakes

Game Set 4: Rulers of Verse Win [Forfeit] Loss Venture Industries
                   Best Wing vs. Sneer Kings
                   Pretty Cupcakes vs. Nehekhara Nasties

Any ties in the shield playoffs after all games are played will be decided by final position in the conferences.

Good luck to all playing.

One of our more murderous players has produced some great logos for us that we will be using from now on. Thomas_Edison (Ryan) has produced these images for the East and West conferences:

A big hand to him for this hard work. (He is currently working on logos for the Trophy and Shield playoffs)

To go with our excellent conference logos we now have a fantastic trophy one aswell.

So good luck to the winner of 'Ette's vs. Lunch B and Muppet's Revenge who will have the chance to win this fine, fittingly blood-soaked trophy.

With Lunch B unable to play their games and ultimately forfeiting 'Ette's were given a bye into the final.

PJJE TROPHY FINAL

Muppet's Vengeance 2 - 0 'Ette's

Game 1: 0 - 0
Game 2: 2 - 0

Bump to remind people that there are games still to be played before the inaugural PJJE tourney is over.

Next tourney is likely to be all-elf. More information about this as and when it happens.

Regarding any future tournaments: Starting this week I can play every day for about three months. After that, not so much. So if it is in any way possible, i'd appreciate it if the new tournament could start pretty soon!

Also, the latest patch fixed some of the bigger issues like Secret Weapons not leaving the field properly and blitzing from the ground being fixed.

I agree with Eric's sentiment. However, i put forward that Eric himself should play more, eh?  :-P

For anyone wanting to join don't forget the QC BBowl Meebo room linked in the first post and to get the password just send one of the regulars a PM.

If you are planning on joining to play in one of our tourneys it would be worthwhile to get a couple of games in beforehand and if anyone would like a teaching game i am around most nights from 21:00 to 01:00 GMT/BST.

Whoah, BloodBowl on the QC forums? Nice!

I've been playing this game for about a decade now - not sure I'd want to join fumbbl since after learning 5th edition, 4th edition rules make me sad. I'm on the new PC game from Cyanide though, if anyone thinks of starting a league there.

Come join us in the wonderful world of fumbbl. We have our own group there and have just finished running our first tourney.

The plan is to have another at the end of august, likely to be an all-elf affair. Even if you don't want to participate in tourneys feel free to join us in the qc bbowl meebo room, just PM a regular for the password.

ATTENTION: This thread is rising from the dead like a Khemri Mummy.

Guess what folks? That's right, its tourney sign-up time again.

This time we will be playing all-elf and are hoping to start from one week today.

If you are interested in playing please make a note in this thread and the final arrangements will be made next week. No teams are necessary to be made until such teams are decided.

Hey, thread!

Yesterday a couple of friends introduced me to this, I judged their training game (not sure if this is needed when you do it online). I'll read through the thread and join up later today. Bad part is that they played with house rules, so I'm guessing there will be differences. The game I saw was Undead vs. Wood Elf, Undead owning because of a team with tons more experience than the other one.

They may have been using LRB5 whereas FUMMBL uses LRB4. Although there are differences the basic gameplay is the same so I don' think it'll be a problem.

18 at GMT-5 is 24 at GMT+1. I really want in, but there's no chance I can start playing later than 22ish (16:00 ECT), so if that leaves me out, I guess I'll have to live with that. Unless you're matching Europe against Europe first. I'll probably loose early anyway.

The next tourney teams have been designated (some presumptions about possible players were made so if your name is here and you can't play please say so; or vice versa even and we will sort it out for you).

High Elf Players (Snobbies): Johnny C, Snalin, Allde, Sam
Wood Elf Players (Woodies): Merrick, Supersheep, Thomas_Edison, E.Spaceman
Dark Elf Players (Nasties): ackblom12, loco_banana, Jeans, Cardinal_Fang
Pro Elf Players (Pros): the_pied_piper, negative_creep, Christophe, Storm Rider

Only restrictions on these designated teams are that they must have an FF of 7 or more so as not to handicap the chance of a decent payout for both players.

Other decisions on tourney setup are still being decided but if you could prepare your team to be able to play by Monday 24th August it would be much appreciated.

Aside from this all i can do is wish everyone a bloody Bbowl tourney and good luck.

EDIT: Please remember to make your teams in League divison.

My ability to play is uncertain - depends on whether the internet is working in my house tomorrow. If not, I might be able to do it, but I'll have to fix times and futz things about and all that malarkey. Anyways, I should know by early Monday (GMT) whether I can rock this or not.
