Pesonally, I think Gilead vs. Dollface is a classic case of the safe pick vs. the sexy pick. Gilead is undoubtedly an asset to the community, but I think Dollface has the higher ceiling, in no small part because I wouldn't put it past him to put something on the boards that would horrify me. Also, Dollface once inspired Inlander to comment that Finns are like vodka soaked elves. But hey, if Gilead ever pulls a Khar and fearlessly burns a few bridges and then pisses on the ashes, all bets are off.

Yup! It is a cutout from a band pic that was taken of a joke band some friends and I started (and ended) on the day of a youth music Festival in our local area. Basically, my friend Jakob and I had watched a lot of Immortal videos, and gotten our LOL on every time. As a result, we decided to pull this prank on the festival.

The idea was to have the most underground, kvlt band ever, meaning we had no songs written, no rehearsals up to the gig and Jakob hadn't even met the other guys before. The band of course broke up after the gig, to make sure we didn't sell out.
It was basically 20 minutes of improvised Black Metal, with a drummer that couldn't play metal to save his life. It ended up sounding like free Jazz through a broken bullhorn placed in a grim and frostbitten forest.

And now, I give you, the full band pic:

The band was called Exclamatory Defecation Syndrome.

I need to go the library to pick up a book and give a girl some cash I owe her. Instead I am eating tangerines while listening to Sha Stimuli, debating whether I should take a nap first or not.

I'm going to graduate soon! Technically in August but I'll be in the ceremony July. I didn't go to class for nearly two weeks but I have started going again and it's been good.

You know I only just found out the other day that climbing and bouldering are different things

Well all bouldering is climbing but not all climbing is bouldering. It is a strange sort of thing but it makes sense in that if p then q sort of way.

What are you gonna do after you graduate? I assume grad school based on being crazy smart, but I dunno.

Also the fact that you are graduating and I am about to be a 22 year old sophmore/suspended from school nothing fills me with shame and sadness.

I don't think grad school is going to be an option anytime soon, as I have the time management skills of a louse. Also I have no concrete purpose or idea of what I'd want to study. Thanks for saying I am smart though

After I graduate I am hopefully going to do Americorps while living here with a couple of good friends. Basically the plan is to chill out and cultivate that interior space, you know. I want to get into shape, read more, create more, travel, trip on acid. I guess it's the stuff everyone else our age wants to do!

Tripping on acid is a pretty fun thing to do, but not as awesome as everyone says! Make sure it is good, and that you are gonna spend the day outside. If you're gonna be in the bay area, I highly reccomend exploring the shit out of Golden Gate Park, I mean it is pretty traditional at this point, you know? Alternatively, come to Colorado and we can go explore some epic mountains or some shit, only I will probably never do acid again ever.

And you know what is great for getting in shape? Climbing! also yoga.

The town I grew up in has this character called Barmer, who is a total acid casualty, just plain nuts or both, hanging around the pubs I used to frequent, and apparently you can only "get" what the hell the guy is on about when you're blasted on acid yourself. Also, acid is a better experience than ecstasy, but less of a 100% sure fire guaranteed good time. It doesn't have the selfishness masquerading as love though, and you aren't nearly as ugly in pictures when you're tripping as you are when you're rolling.
