Need some idiot-proof video help
« on: 02 Jul 2009, 07:47 »

Okay, so I'm trying to upload some video footage that we filmed last night to Youtube, but apparently my computer ate Movie Maker, so I don't have any video editor. can one of you lovelies suggest a free, easy to use alternative?

I don't need anything powerful, because I'm not trying to be Michael Bay here...just need to crop the raw film file (it's in avi format) to get the part I want to publish, then add some title screens to the front and back of the file.

Grassy-ass, my well-scrubbed friends!

There really isn't a great middleweight in video editing software. If Movie Maker conked out, I'd recommend obtaining Adobe Premiere. It's easier to use than Movie Maker and is definitely capable of doing what you want it to do.

And if you played too hard it'd flop out and dangle around by the wire and that is just super ugly
