My housemate eats peanut butter with a spoon direct from the jar. This isn't normal, right?

I need confirmation from the internet before I mock her into a state of shock.

This is last night's dinner...but seriously, the annual July family barbeque is the best thing all year.

Grandma made potato salad, Yaya made tiropita and spanikopita, there was cole slaw, and broccoli salad, and my uncle made ribs. Know this: he is really freaking good at making ribs.

Tail-end of my brunch... giant mug of earl grey. It was preceded by a piece of grilled chicken, and shall be followed by one of the greatest yet simplest pleasures on earth.

A bowl of cold vanilla yoghurt. Thick, velvety smooth. So so smooth.

The flavour of Sainsbury's Chocolate Tart is still in my mouth. It is delicious; the perfect blend of chocolate, cream, golden syrup and pastry. It is well worth £2 to feed six people with a bit of cake from heaven.

List threads can be a nice diversion every now and then, but when all of the ones on the front page start to get made by the same person... but fuck I really like talking about food.

Right now I'm eating ramen noodles, but in the weird ass way that i make them. Which is break em up real good before I cook em I, strain em rather than making the broth, make a sauce in a pan with butter, flour and milk, add in the chicken flavoring packet and then basically add whatever other ingredients on hand that sound good. Today is some shredded cheddar and some kraft parmesan, some grilled chicken that I chopped up and tossed in, umm, some crushed red pepper, franks hot sauce and ranch.

This is all based off of a thing my brother and his best friend used to do as kids. They called it slop, I wish I had a better name for it but I admit right now that this is an unholy mix of ingredients and goddamn it tastes good.

I have this recipe that I like to make all the time whenever I have the ingredients. It's hells of easy to make, and tastes awesome. So I will share it here!

Quote
1 cup honey
1 cup smooth peanut butter
2 cups instant oats
2 cups powdered milk
Take all ingredients, place in large ziplock baggie, and mash together. Add raisins if you want. Consume at leisure.

Technically, it's supposed to be rolled into individual balls of gooey goodness, but I usually just roll it all together and eat.
