So what was Faye doing standing outside the restroom with her arms folded? Was she in hiding from the Wrath of Dora?

Is Faye being preemptively jealous?

Or there's some sort of hideous queue. Seriously ladies, I don't know how you manage without doing a small jig or something. Or do you go like 10 minutes before you think you'll need to?

I like how the door says 'Bitchez'. What would the mens say?

I wonder what Dora calls the hamster.

Jigs. They happen.
Also, that's one of the (many) reasons we go in groups. Someone to take your mind off it.

Faye does look weirdly upset, though.

One simalcrum, two simalcra.
One simulacrum, two simulacra actually. Or, if you don't like Latinisms, one simulacrum, two simulacrums. How many people use fora as the plural of forum these days? Or dogmata as the plural of dogma? Who knows, perhaps abandoning Latin plurals might discourage people from using media, criteria, and data as if they were singular nouns.

Or maybe, robot-Dora is only one of many, possessed of a distributed-cluster AI which has problems with the whole singular/plural concept...

SCIENCE
It works, Bitches.

On the back is a graph of the universe's temperature spectrum from the COBE mission or something, which almost perfectly matches up with the theoretically predicted black body spectrum.

Oh, but why, Mr. Wizard?  Why does it match up so well?

Because it's

SCIENCE.

Does the Horrible Revelation have these bathroom signs too? If the men's room said 'dicks', though, I would have expected them to be consistent and make the ladies' say 'pussies'.

The shirt doesn't say "It works, bitches", it says "Is a (...) now".

faye does seem to be a little jealous, but she's always been protective of marten.

dora swings between mad insecurity and calm level-headness quite frequently. i kinda like that, since i can relate. and i suppose most ladies can, also.

SCIENCE

is what I can make out after downloading and blowing up the graphic. Which begs the question, what does the slogan actually mean?

Also, I have never been in a bar that served beer in shot glasses. Although that is an awesome idea. I would be more adventurous in sampling different beers if I wasn't worried about being stuck with a pint of something undrinkable.

I've been in some bars that do that - although the glasses usually hold about 250ml (one cup) - it was nice to be able to sample different types.  If I remeber right, you paid about the equivalent of two pints for the privilege.

Yeah Faye does seem a little upset, just by her body language and what she said in the second panel. I'm not sure if Jeph meant for it to seem like that or not... I think he did. Kind of annoying on Faye's part if she is getting jealous, that's Dora's job. Speaking of Dora... she's annoying.

You may need to go to a nice wine store to find some Chocolate stouts, as well as a world of other beers you may have been unaware of. My personal favorite chocolate stouts are made my Rogue and Southern Teir. Youngs Double Chocolate stout is okay and probably easiest to find, but it's fairly unbalanced and best served with food.(Deep chocolate desserts, etc.) Brooklyn makes a chocolate stout that isn't too bad either. My only complaint with that one is it is much more malty compared to the others, but that maltiness may indeed suit your taste.

I was at the Boise Green Expo a couple of weeks ago; it was held in loose conjunction with a beer fest with about 30 Northwest breweries. You could buy a set of eight tickets - each ticket got you a roughly two-ounce sample of beer (or you could cash in four tickets for a glass of beer).

The hazelnut ale was the most interesting, but the Black Butte porter was the most satisfying.

There's a chain of pubs here in the UK that do 3 one third pints of the specials whenever theres a 'beer festival' for the price of a pint of any of them.

I read the OP as saying you were served a cup and charged for two pints. Yes, four cups would be a better deal. A whole bunch of shot-sized measures would be better still.

I have been in microbreweries where they do this (four samples of various beers, about 250 ml each) and offer a little sheet telling about each of the drinks in the batch.  Kind of a fun way to check out new beers.

I hear The Borg's lawyers are looking for you.   :D  ;)

I think Faye's being a bit childish here.  It's almost as if she's jealous of Marigold taking attention away from her.  Then again, knowing her insecurities, she probably feels threatened by Marigolds sudden inclusion into their little group.

Dora's punishment work here is done.  Though I don't thing she would be mean enough to let Faye wet herself - Would she??

The real question is, is Faye the kind of person who can't pee if someone's talking to her? (Think Elliot Reed on Scrubs)

other than the fact that she has different hair, a markedly different jawline and facial shape, thicker arms, smaller and higher boobs, is narrower-hipped and less chubby, YEAH! she's a total Faye clone! Of the african persuasian!

Akronnick, I can think of no more appropriate steed for a Knight Of The Dickbroom than a foul-mouthed, perpetually shouting, lust-crazed bird with a scrotum hanging from its chin and a distinctive cry of "Gobble gobble gobble".   --Tergon

I like how we saw both Faye doing a jig and the title revealing the bathroom name (Sons of Bitchez). If only we knew what the hamster was called!
