After much rumour and delay and hype, Shrinebuilder have finally released a track, up for streaming now at the band's
MySpace, and it is so, so, so good.
It is called Pyrmaid of the Moon.
It is over seven minutes long.
It crushes skulls and smokes them.
Shrinebuilder is a doom/sludge/stoner metal supergroup composed of Scott "Wino" Weinrich of St. Vitus/The Obsessed/Spirit Caravan/Hidden Hand, Scott Kelly of Neurosis, Al Cisneros of Sleep/Om and Dale Crover of The Melvins.
They're recording a full-length which will be out on Kelly's Neurot Records... soon?
Below you will all talk about how pants-shittingly awesome this song is.
