If it was up to me I'd lock this thread and sticky it. If you make too much winning available at such a low cost you de-value it for everyone.

Oh yeah, only the locking is for the economy; the stickying is because I'm mean.

An open letter to the forum:

Every silly short post thread does not warrant multiple spin off threads. Sometimes a good spoof thread merits continued existence, but only if it has value in its own right, and can head in its own direction. Having 3-4 threads that seemingly exist just to expand post count is weak boarding. Nobody likes weak boarding! So, internet folks, think long and hard before you hit that Post button. Will this new thread promote some original direction of conversation? Will this revert into another list thread? If you are unsure, remember you always have the power to steer a thread back towards your intended direction with Strong Boarding.

Love,
Tyler

I guess that means I shouldn't create a "First person to post on their head wins" thread?

Not really though, some of these threads were funny at first, but really it is just weak boarding. Then again, this seems to happen every few months that everyone gets this big stick up their ass about how we have too many megathreads and how we have too few new threads and how the forum sucks now, blah blah blah. But then again, people are never happy with what they have.
