Well, okay, this looks like an immense grindfest.
Really, all there is to do is combat and PvP, you actually have to read the story if you don't want it to be a giant grindfest. What is nice is that when you have to do hunts, instead of going out and killing 30 snow moose and it takes you 3 hours because it is one at a time. You fight anywhere from 5-9 in one battle, so the hunts go a lot quicker.
The combat was kinda fun, though, a bit intuitive and fast-paced, although you had to turn of the camera effects to be able to finish on time.
Yeah, the camera effects are pretty shit, I don't know why they are even there.
So it's kinda good, I just didn't find the part that made this better than anything else.
As I said earlier, the hunts are shorter, so it means less time sitting in a field waiting for mobs to respawn. I like it because there is a huge story on top of what I think is a really cool battle system, and the entire thing is taking place on an alternate earth. You actually get to travel all over Europe, North America, and Asia. Also, it's free to play and it is actually really well supported and isn't just a shit game that is full of people who spent money to get levels or super equipment or any of that. (I am looking at pretty much every other F2P game I have ever played)
If you don't want to pay any real world money in this game, it doesn't suddenly make you suck more than everyone else.
