I'm also interested in the Saboteur, but I don't know how much I have to say about it. I'm really hoping this is the game that gets Pandemic back to their peak, since they whiffed on their last few. I think the Will to Fight mechanic is cool, it makes the visual presentation much more striking even if it's just kind of a feature from Okami supplanted into Vichy France.

I do have stuff to say about this game.

I'm very excited because a WWII game that isn't a first person shooter and isn't on the frontlines is something fresh in the WWII genre.  I'm excited because of the graphic styling and because I think the game is going to be an incredible amount of fun.  I hope.  The problem for me is that I really don't know whether or not I want to pre-order it or not.  On the one hand everything I've seen of the game has made me salivate over the graphics and the premise and on the other hand I want to wait for the reviews to come out before I make a decision.  If a game has horrible controls and it's really loose....then I'm not going to enjoy it.

I'm really hoping that they'll put out something that's cool.

Also I would like to point out that the combination of Sailor Moon and faux-Kerouac / Sonic Youth spelling is perhaps the purest distillation of what this forum is that we have yet been presented with.

Well despite the fact Pandemic was effectively closed down, Saboteur went gold.

Wow. I had just been thinking about this game, I was wondering if it had been canceled. It was in development for quite a while.

Gametrailers has a few videos showing how escalation works. It looks......ok.  From what I've read Pandemic was shut down because they squandered a lot of their assets and kept people more for loyalty than for talent.  I'm looking forward to the reviews for this game, I'll be surprised if it does well.  I'm starting to expect something slightly more typical.
